I was at the VOID International ANimation festival. ANimated shorts, features etc from around the world. Ranging all over in terms of genre and presentation and animation style.

The last film I saw was a chinese stop-motion film called (S)he, essentially about classism, sexism and endless consumerism...

And it was told entirely with a cast of male and female shoes and strange creatures and machines built out of the garbage produced daily from a few chinese households.

It was absolutely insane and unlike anything I have ever seen before visually. Not exactly subtle, not exactly making a new statement, but just being so goddamn relentless and vile in the images it created that it was one of them ost unique film experiences I have had in ages.

The one negative is that some scenes drag on just a tiny bit too long.

Like I said, it's not subtle or saying something all that new, so when it just keeps hammering it in you end up being like "Alright, the back row got it about 20 minutes ago", but it's still just si visually insane it barely mattes.

I'd give it a go. There's a lot of really well done character development throughout.

If I understand the length of the original manga/webcomic, each season seems to be about a third of the story. So it's 2/3 done now.

We actually just swapped to a PCR test. It takes us 30 minutes to run which is much longer but it is far, far more sensitive. I believe the rapid antigen test has a sensitivity like 85%

It's less a matter of time and ease, more a matter of me worrying the hospital/insurance is going to charge me an exorbitant amount of money, like american health organizations tend to do. It's a moot point, anyway, since today i'm fine. A bit of mild congestion, but nothing else. Honestly, if i were sick, and it wasn't time sensitive, it might legitimately be cheaper to buy a ticket to fly to Europe and get treated there, even with decent insurance from work.
