Dare you enter the Thug Forest?

    Interdimensional dungeon crawling is the favored pastime of the delusional and unwilling where the "crawl" is taken literally more often than not. Here, anyone can enter, if they so happen to walk through the wrong door at the wrong time. You can leave anytime you like, but you'll find that the door you used to enter will not necessarily lead back to the world you knew, if not simply to the broom closet. Seeking out your exit door is the goal of many who inhabit this place. That is not a grammatical error either, there WILL be others who are looking for YOUR door to hold it hostage and prevent you from ever leaving, at least not without being asked to sacrifice something in return. It is also unpredictable where any given individuals exit door may spawn and you may find yourself a longstanding resident if it spawned on a dangerous floor or one controlled by a not so friendly organization. Friends and allies are a necessity for survival, so whether you like it or not, you're stuck in here with these people, so you had better learn to cooperate or none of you will ever see home again.

    The rules are simple, each pocket universe, more commonly referred to as "floors" have their own unique set of rules. Now you might be asking "What if I break the rules" to which i would respond, these aren't the kind of rules you can break, they are laws that dictate the very function of these floors. If on a given floor it was commonplace for powerful individuals to fly at will, then it is done, but if that same individual were to enter a floor where that is not possible according to that floors rules, then they will be forced to walk like the rest of us. This can be applied to any number of abilities ranging from magic/super powers, enhanced items, physical ability, to even accessible knowledge in some cases. That being said, if you want an advantage in this world then you will need Objects of Power (often called "OP Items") from floor bosses.

    Floor bosses are either beings who the floors created for the purpose of containing objects of power brought in by unexpected visitors over the eons, or visitors who became permanent residents and took over one or more floors. Hi.

I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in me starting a brand new My Little Pony RP?

I have rough ideas for a story to GM, but it will be a first-time for me.
I was thinking it can be set either after Twilight's coronation or after "The Last Problem" where Twilight and her friends form the "Council of Friendship" and can no longer deal with immediate problems in Equestria, thus chosen a select few for important tasks.

As for gameplay, I got two sets of RP rulesets in mind. I'm hoping anyone who is interested will vote on these two choices:

Tails of Equestria (traditional, intermediate)

Just keep in mind, I only know so much about these rules. But I can learn how it's played and GM by these rules. (I may ask Clarity as my co-GM to help me keep track on the gameplay.)

My rank-based system (custom, simple)
TTRP rules I made myself inspired from gamebooks such as Fighting Fantasy and Lone Wolf. Instead of general strength and levelling, playing characters have six attributes that players must rank from A (best) to F (worst), this allows for ponies to have variations in their skills and abilities while keeping to a general power-level amongst the group while enemies and bosses may vary in challenge and strategy.
Instead of different kinds of dices, a d6 is all that's really needed.
Given my custom rank-based system can be used for any kind of setting, I'll borrow some elements from ToE and adapt it to be more pony like.

After escaping the spider-infested dwarf mines Nazom and Vinifera returned to the harbor town of Riva, along with Thorgrim, Boronia, and Mule-Mo.

We'll be starting a new adventure soon.

Introduction
Welcome to Ponyville's very own ToE OOC thread. What I intend to do is create an rpg group where we play adventures and campaigns within the Equestrian universe using the ToE ruleset made by the Riverhorse company.

Joining the Party
Right now this thread is being used to discuss if and how this will play out however don't let that stop you from making a character. If you want to join the game then you should at least have a fair idea on how ToE is played but don't worry if you don't. If you don't have your own copy of the book or are not sure how the rules are played, you can contact me on Discord and we can talk over a voice channel (Link below) if that doesn't strike your fancy then I can try to explain it by text here.

Venting thread:
*Bang bang* I knock on the vents of of room, a rather antiseptic looking room with a computer. I work on Marz. My name is Saveen.

I work with the Martian Royal Court on the computer systems we use to raise a new race of lifeforms.

On the monitor, I see (((her)))

Everyday, speaking into the loud speaker, taking care of (((her))), it haunts me. I raise her and I use the computer to control little avatars in her world, but it's not the same, as I can never truly hold and hug her.

She's so smart. Teaching her everything I know.

She tells me how much she loved me, but I wounder if she knows how deeply it disturbs me to see her ever uncomfortable.

I'm her everything in the litteral sense, as from the computer monitor in the work station, I comunicate with her every day, managing her life skills, and providing her with money and food.

But shes my everything in a deeply inexplicable way. I need her. I need to her her tell me she loves me.

There's a number of smaller ttrpgs I'd love to run. One being Golden Sky Stories, a game about forging relationships and friendships to solve problems (you can see why I wanted this) and Tiny Taverns, a game about running a fantasy shop/tavern/inn in a fantasy world of any sort!

Both are very slice of life like and I think could be quite enjoyable!

In the middle of a small town square there sits a large library that is open twenty four hours a day, year long.

It is large, but not so large as to get lost if one goes wondering. In the back there are many long halls with all sorts of books, from all over over Equestria, with many tables and chairs placed throughout for easy reading sessions.

Near the front of the library is a unique room that has been soundproofed, so as not to disturb the rest of the libraries guests, and has been designed as a hang-out spot for any pony who does not wish to research or relax in the back.

It has been spruced up with large tables and plush chairs, a vending machine in the corner, and an espresso set-up with free coffee and many varieties of tea.

It is in this room that many a pony denizen seems to find themselves on this bleak, cold, and rainy day.
