(Of course nopony has ever seen an alicorn, let alone believe in them.)

In this RP we we play ponies during medieval time. Equestria is currently ruled by the founding ponies who struggle to run the newly found country.

As for how we can play it, I was considering we could use the Fighting Fantasy game system to play.

We could have four stats:
Skill is for attacks, abilities and magic.
Stamina is how much health you have and occasional test of strength and endurance.
Luck is for how fortunate or charming you would be in certain situations.

I'll start the RP after a week or two, I'm still sorting out new stats and gameplay mechanics with Critical.

I'm thinking the RP can start around a conflict, like maybe Dream Castle is attacked by Diamond Dogs or Grogars forces or something.

I plan to start the RP either before the end of this week or the next, depends what non-Ponyville.us things i have to sort out with my brother.

Inspired from the first few books of Redwall, I'm thinking the first campaign would be against Grogar of Tambelon who wants to enslave ponies and take over Equestria. The first stronghold he must topple is Dream Castle.

Critical hit is designign a sort of ponyversal RPG system we can use for all Pony RPGs which I think it's cool. Dunno when it'll be ready though.

I'm looking to start up a fun, show style open thread with the setting being the town of Ponyville. But! For some mysterious reason, Ponyville has run out of cherries! And no one knows why!

Princess Celestia is off on duties, and the main six are too busy with their separate missions to help out their home town. So together, the citizens of Ponyville must solve the mystery of why the cherries have not been delivered!

Roles that will probably need to be filled:

-Shop keepers

-Adventurers To Solve The Mystery! (perhaps volunteers or elected through the actual rp thread? Otherwise OOC is fine)

-Townsfolk

-A villain?

If this sounds like a fun idea for a thread, then let's make it happen cap'n!

I'm actually not too good at doing stat systems, as most of the rps I have been in were honor based unless a LOT of battling was going on. Otherwise we usually gave character sheets as just a little background on our characters, like a short bio and what they look like and some of the major things they can do.

Oh haha, sorry if I gave that impression! I never meant for there to be a DM, but rather just a party roleplay where everyone adds to the story how they like, and we just discuss in the ooc where we would like the thread to go.

[Casual] [Open] [Mystery]

A glowing neon sign lights the street with a blue glow: "Ruby's Night Club"

Inside, the doors are unlocked, and the DJ puts on the first track of the night.

Ruby unlocks the door and takes her position behind the bar. Waiting for the night to wander in.

This /rp/ is very open. Chill, dance, chat, whatever.

Heck, use this club as a side location in your own rp for your characters to unwind. Have fun doin' whatever, but if you get too rowdy (like starting fights 'n bothering other patrons, etc), Ruby will boot you out of the club (but only until the next night).

There is a mystery to be solved regarding the history of Ruby and the building, but there's no need to seek that out if it doesn't interest you. But it's there if it does.

A map of the club will be provided below. Changes will be made to the map as necessary. (Dice and card decks can be found on the large table upstairs)

Yeah, I plan on continuing it, but it seems the site itself is rather unpopulated lately.

Hopefully more people begin to show up. I'll try to bring some more people into the thread sometime, but if no one else comes, I'll probably just close it up.
