>>1200372hm, I dunno. One thing I learned from past Halloweens is too much of a good thing can be a bit bad for you.
For example, the moment September 30th turn mid-night, if you go through all your spooky movies and plans by the end of the first week or two of October, then you'll not have much spooky-things left for Halloween.
For example, saving BloodBorne until October because it looks like a spooky Halloween game, and finishing it over the wekend.
No.1200375
>>1200374True, but when you watch the same movies or Halloween specials every year because "tradition", they get stale, and you don't want to watch them so soon.
For example, I think 1982 Conan the Barbarian is the best barbarian-genre movie and a work of art, but because I think it's so great, and I watched it so often, the novelty has worn off for me. I no longer want to watch it often.

>>1200493I still believe that there will always be a customer-base for hand-drawn art.
When cinema was invented, there were people who were afraid theatre would be redundant.
When televisions were introduced to homes, people were afraid cinema would be redundant.
When streaming services were introduced, especially around 2016's epidemic, people were concerned cinema would be redundant once again.
I'd be a hypocrite if I said I didn't like to mess around with AI generators every now and again, but I (and I'm sure a lot of people) have their own ethical perspectives on what it should be used for.
For example, i feel iffy over the thought of buying Christmas cards or cheap products with obvious AI-genarated art on packaging because you're technically buying something that has AI generated content on it. But as
>>1200495 said, they were low-effort small-time companies just find it as another means to market from when before they would just use some cheaply squiggled clown or something for the packaging.

They wouldn't have. Companies like these would simply have used stock ever so slightly altered clip art, or straight up just yanked something copyrighted and counting on no one noticing or caring.
I have seen both in the wild and called them out with the same fervor I do for AI now.
AI really has added very little that is actually particularly new. It has just eliminated the ever so slightly barrier of effort that was still needed to pull off scams or quick turnarounds, which is bad enough.
