Was it Rarity who bravely approached a raging manticore, because she knew what was causing it's pain and had the courage to help it?
Can Rarity stare down a cockatrice and live?
Does Rarity have the balls to steal from royalty, that being Celestia's personal pet, just because it was looking sickly?
Could Rarity convince one of the most chaotic and potentially dangerous villains in all of Equestria to be a good friend?
When Zecora had that fatal illness, who pushed herself to find the cure at the risk of her own health?
You think Rarity could put up wit hthat little shit Angel Bunny 24/7?

if given the money to do that right now, i'd quite the north pole tomorrow, drop all the classes i have, and get myself in an apartment by this time next week

well there's not really a "place" to submit them; at this time, i'm making stuff, and putting it into my portfolio

if people are searching for stuff, i can load it for them; i don't really have the money to submit to a lot of contests either;

so basically i'm kinda just making a stockpile of works, and showcasing some writing in the form of little videos, which take their own time

when i get to a place where i can properly give an elevator pitch to a prospective client, then i'll really push it, but until then, i'm just packing the keg and honing the skills

sharing a portfolio is typically fine and free for the most part; it's just contests that would be a paid submission, and outside of like the biggest ones like the Zoetrope contest  (a francis ford coppala contest), there really isn't much merit in them

typically THE best way to get your work in the hands of others is to work in the system itself, ideally in a writers room, or at the very least a PA on set.

alternatively, i could be a director and make my own work, but that's another can of worms that i'd have to consider if i wanna persue that line

anywho, i must hit the sack! goodnight clarity ^_^

I guess it depends on where you go. There are bar Karaoke's where it's completely free. You just have to tell the person playing music that you wanna hit the que.

Then there are places where you can rent a private sound proof room for friends.

I used to go to the forest with a close group of drinking friends and we would throw a party every weekend. Some of them played instruments and we would either make up our own songs on the spot or use the blue tooth speaker to pick out things to sing to once another. We would also light up a fire and dance. That was the first time I ever really sang for anyone other than myself in a group setting. It was also the first time I was told by a group of people that I was surprisingly good. It was a pleasant time.

Not in our group at least. We had plenty of people who 'sucked' but everyone was having a good time. The quality never really mattered, it was about the spirit of joining in. Good times.

I remember one night everyone was listening to rap music and there was this one Russian guy who jumped in with a freestyle. It was the funniest shit I had heard in a long time.
