I took audience suggestions for a future video that will be a fair bit of work. So now I am just trying to come up with something a bit quicker I can do in the meantime.
I landed on a fanart video so I wont have to invent much new - but singe I like to explore slightly more obscure things, I thought an idea like "Less Famous Characters by Famous Manga Artists" would be fun.
I've already picked some, so right now I a. Just thumbing through my Akira Toriyama collection of his various shorts and one-shots to settle on someone from there.

And I just kind of want to show off that these creators, who may be known primarily for maybe one or two big works, did other and smaller things, too. A lot of what I have in this particular book are prototype stories or one-shots, where Kajika and Sandland were limited series.
I just find the lesser known stuff interesting, and I like using my videos to inform folks about media they might not know exists.
Like, another character I was hoping to do for this is Raiden-18, created by the author of Fullmetal Alchemist. A much more humorous Frankensteins' Monster-esque character that she only ever drew like five little stories with over the course of 16 years.

Well I think I just made someone very happy
This pupper came running up to me from across the atreet while I was walking home from the station...and then it turned out the people also walking around there didn't own it.
Thankfully she was very friendly and sociable, so getting ahold of her collar was no issue. Called twice, the owner told me she had bo issue heing picked so and sent her son living nearby. Apparently she had literally JUST escaped through a door the son's girlfriend forgot to close properly. Just an unfortunate slipup.
10 PM in a small town though. If Id walked by like two minutes later or just didn't care about stray dogs, there's no telling what could've happened.

For the most part. I managed to fix the face to look more like Gosho Aoyama's style from my sketch.
I just didn't make his distinct sword hilt quite as visible as it probably should have been, but my chosen pose and his hair didn't really work together on that.

(now i don't know if you don't know, but i despise that guy, but i rarely ever talk about it, cause i try to avoid political talk cause it stokes my anxiety)
anywho, he comes up to a stoplight and is just waiting for it to turn green, when a young girl, probably late teens, decides to try to toss a rock at the side of the truck and say anti trump things (again i hate trump, but she still instigated vandalism) so i walk by, and she looks at me and i just kinda smile and give a thumbs up (which in hindsight may have been a mistake)
now the dude in the truck, was rightfully pissed and got out of the truck to yell at her. she kinda just smiled and was enjoying ragebaiting this dude. then eventually just threw more rocks at the truck.
the guy then proceed to hit her in the head. which was very shocking!
now immediately, before i could even process, there was like 4 people, a couple with phones recording the incident, yelling "you can't hit a woman!" and other expletives. the guy storms off in a huff in his truck, and looks out the window towards me saying" you saw that right?" before driving off
the other folk there were checking in on her, making sure she was okay, and it was at that time i kinda walked away.
i feel conflicted about the whole thing, cause on the one hand, the dude freakin decked her in the head, which is straight up assault; however she was the one who instigated this whole thing with her throwing literal rocks at the truck, which is vandalism at the least
and then i feel somewhat guilty with giving her a thumbs up, even though that was mostly for her comments and not her actions; cause i felt like it gave her the idea to continue, even though that was not my intention at all. so while i am by every legal sense innocent, i still can't help but feel like i was at least partially complicit in the escalation of the event.
and with the video those people took, they will get there "trump supporter hits woman in broad daylight" clip, but it will probably be without the context that she absolutely started the conflict in the beginning
in my eyes, they are both guilty of their own things. she was guilty of vandalism, and the guy is guilty of assault. and the whole thing was just a quick blur of a mess
and the fact that i have to at least defend the idea that this dude has the right to be mad is something i never wanted to do, even though i absolutely codemn him for hitting her. and while i mostly agree with the sentiment of the woman, i cannot condone just literally throwing rocks at a dudes car at a stoplight, cause as fucked up as that dude is for his views, he still has the right to share those views without threat.
so yes, messy and i hate it, and if nothing else, it's a reminder to myself to not blindly choose one side or another and to advocate for harmful actions just because the other person supports something i despise on multiple levels
so yeah, i really wish it was the lewd side of things :/

At the end of Kingdom Hearts 1, Sora and Kairi are separated as Kairi returns to Destiny Island and Sora is sent elsewhere.
At the start of Kingdom Hearts 2, this new guy named Roxas finds Sora sleeping in a giant lotus, with the only context being "Thank Naminé".
Turns out Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories explains what happened. Being a GameBoy Advance game, it was odd seeing a PlayStation exclusive franchise on a Nintendo console and likely why it wasn't that well known. Granted, the PlayStation Portable wasn't released on November 2004, but they could've at least waited a month.
But after KH2, there were half-a-dozen spin-off games for both PlayStation Portable, Nintendo DS and even mobile. I imagine, if I ever get round to playing KH3, it will not be without confusion over some context that would've been explained in some other spin-off.

Zomcom pitch:
In 2000, a zombie virus was made but was ultimately covered up. 28 years later, the first account of a zombie outbreak, but turns out zombies barely pose a threat given how slow they move and due to exposure to nature, suffer from rapid decomposure. The only real threat from zombies are a bioterrorist group called the Necromancers who set off outbreaks.
Also, the two "rules" for these zombies is that they're not flesh-eating or brain-eating, they're simply compulse to bite human. A zombie bite is poisonous causing death followed by reanimation. The second rule is zombies are coloured green.
The story could be about a boy waiting to meet a girl so that he could confess to her and give her muffins he made. When the girl goes to meet him, to her horror, she discovers an outbreak has happened and he was bitten.
But, for some weird circumstance I've yet to decide upon, she ends up biting him in the arm and this causes the zombie boy to turn from green to pale white and reawaken his human consciousness.
It turns out that if a zombie bites a human, they turn into a zombie, but it also works the other way round... sort of.
The boy is now "alive" but perhaps requires a period of recovery to be human again, similar to the movie Warm Bodies. That or he has mutated into something near human? I dunno.
The whole concept comes from the question I always asked, if zombies/vampires/werewolves can turn a healthy human into a zombie/vampire/werewolf by biting them, can't a human turn a zombie/vampire/werewolf back into a human by biting them back?

When I was a kid, I wanted to make video games, like REALLY wanted to. But I grew up in the '90s and no one taught me how to code. By my mid-teens, programs like Unity were released, but even with what tutorials were available at that time, I still encountered errors and problems and I had no tutor or anyone to help me. Also, Unity still required C# coding which I don't know. Over time the drive to make games just became dull after every failure and shortcomings.
Now days, not only is Unity more advance and accessible to use, but ChatGPT can write C+ scripts for you... So... what's my excuse for not making games? I dunno, I want that motivation I had when I was a kid, but it's gone now.
Right now I'm making a game for Tabletop Simulator, but it's not like anyone else can't do what I'm doing.

an hour later, i got 6 stitches and doctors orders to not do any hard work for the next few days :P
