then i came home, and i checked the mail and found a letter from the bank that the mortgage to the house is under. so i open it
it said that i owed 2X the amount cause i "did not pay" for the previous payment. which is bullshit cause i literally paid it yesterday (which is before the due date btw), and have been keeping up with it.
so i call the number for the bank and go to pay bill option, and it said that i'm all paid up for the month and i don't owe anything until next month, and it would be the normal amount
so i'm confused, and a little freaked out, like what is going on? did i do something wrong?
so i call the bank again and this time get customer service reps, and i learn that since i'm technically not on the account as a Successor of Interest yet, i can't view what in the account. so i can't even confirm whether i'm fine or if i'm derelict or not.
so i'm given instructions to become a Successor of Interest, and i fill out the packet, give a lot of documents, and send it out. now i don't have my letters of testementary yet, even though i should have gotten them like 3 weeks ago (my lawyer even pushed for the court to review them so hopefully they come soon) but that would be the last thing i need to send to become a Successor and see what is up
so until then, the only thing people tell me is "keep making payments" and i just gotta hope that 1. everything is fine 2. i get those damn letters of testementary soon, and 3. that the bill that i saw was just in error and that i'm doing fine
if i had to guess, I think it's fine and that there was probably a hiccup in the machines in charge of sending out bills. I have made payments, I have bank statementes that show that i have, so i have to believe that i'm fine
but the chance that something is wrong and the potential to have my house foreclosed on despite me paying on time and regularly has stressed me out.
ooh 100+ weather! that sounds so much fun >< time to get some ice cream and stick your head in the freezer!
