my method of coffee making is called a French Press
you put your coffee grounds into it, then you pour in boiling water
then after 4 minutes, you plunge it which filters out the grounds, and then pour!

what had happend was they were getting it put into station for the end of the day, which requires two people. One to drive the train and reverse it, and the other to pull the switch in the tracks that puts it back into station
so when the conductor was reversing it, the person in charge of the switch forgot to change it, so it was reversing back onto the normal track.
instead of stopping the conductor, and asking him to drive back into the original spot, the switch person decided in their infinite wisdom (and most likely panic) to switch it right then and there
so now half of the train was going into the station, and then the other half was going onto the normal track
so we had a real life version of MULTI TRACK DRIFTING!
it took them the whole morning to get it back on the track ><
maybe you can challenge the meeting people to some point and clickers!

I remember awhile back, I
tried to make a let's play of Alex Kidd in Miracle World for the Master System (via emulator), I wanted to make it before Alex Kidd DX was released. But because I couldn't figure out how to set the video quality of the emulator (which, now I got the hang of it, wasn't that hard to do), I never got to make it.
I "might" do a casual Let's Play of games I like, but will also try and make more animations for it. A "do whatever I want with it" sort of channel.
But the reason why I won't make it right now is because:
A. I don't think the quality of my camera-mic is decent. Especially given I like having my bedroom fan on most of the time, even during Autumn and at times Winter.
B. You know what my current home life is like. A bit of upheaval and uncertainty of a wanted change. If the thing me and my family want does happen, I'd rather be settled in before I do anything major. I mean, nothing is stopping me right now, just if I start the work now, it will be a distraction later on.
C. I don't have a private recording area and I don't want to disturb my brother. Well, he probably won't hear me that much, especially with both our bedroom doors closed. But given summer weather heating up my bedroom, I've been having my door open most of the time throughout the summer to vent out what little heat I can.
I remember at first I didn't want a Google Account, but my brother insisted I had one and signed me up. Granted, they are useful, but when I realised YouTube channel was included, I felt it was an unwanted obligation. Like "I had to put something on there, that's what it's for!"
I will still mess around on SFM, and try to give Blender and Unity another go, I would love to make animations if I can. But it's hard to feel motivation when my bedroom is a sauna. The fact today is just a mild 20°C (and cooling now evening is setting in) just makes me happy that I'm not swimming in my own sweat. Maybe I'll go to bed at a reasonable hour tonight.

But I have this thing for chaumes cups. They come in a package and you have to put them in the micro wave for a couple of minutes so the cheese becomes a tub of molten goop.

>>1209651thank you, and a few things happened to make it stressful. first it was about 85 degrees all day (or 29c for you), and on blacktop and direct sunlight, it was hot. first thing first was that we were so understaffed, that i was put on a ride for the day. fortunately i got to choose the ride, but still. (it also didn't help that i had some digestive issues today).
The second was there was a mixup in the trash route, which lead to a bit of a headache in getting that fixed for a bit.
and the third involves something that is on the more serious side that i don't feel comfortable sharing here. I will say that nobody on staff is in trouble for this thing as it was off hours. but there was some questioning around some circumstances, and while i know i didn't do anything wrong, i still feel like i fumbled a bit, and could have done better. I can't go in the past and change what happened, but i can learn and grow from it
fortunately once i got home, i ate some fried chicken, hung out with a friend, and am now taking it easy
plus tomorrow is payday, so that's a plus!

I'm curious of the "extent" of Godot, so I'm gonna make a little house and surrounding area on AC3D and see if I can port it over.
What's AC3D? Practically an archaic 3D modelling program. As much as I would like to be good with Blender, AC3D is the only modelling program I am decent with, and by "decent" I mean I can at least make objects and shapes with it.
I can make models on AC3D and port them over to Blender for things like flexes, skeletons and more advance tweakings. But it's not exactly learning.

It has been my childhood dream to get into making video games since the '90s. The past 10-15 years or so, I feel I have "given up" one way or another given game development wasn't as accessible back then.
Now, I feel like I lack excuse. Unity has advance to the point that, as long as you require basic knowledge of it, is more accessible to use, and Godot is supposedly a simpler game engine that's just as good. And while we live in a time when the use of AI is controversial, the fact AI can assist me in writing C# seems very attractive to me.
There's also a Sonic fan game I always wanted to make called "Sonic Ultimate", I hope I can make such a game before I die.

I decided to redo the house model. Going with a sort of junkyard warehouse look.
I may not have experience "modelling" a house, but I have used Hammer Editor for Garry's Mod and TF2 before, so it should be like the same thing.

It's a bit different from the movie. Jessica's a bit more morally ambiguous. The case is somewhat different.
The racism metaphor is a little more overt, and the Toons are just as much comic strip characters as they are animated. LOTS of shoutouts to characters from all over the world, some more famous than others. Hence, cartoonists are never referred to as artists, but as "photographers" and "directors".
One pretty cool thing is that in the book, Toons actually speak in physical word balloons that appear over their head. They have mass and are shaped depending on their mood.
It's definitely written like 40ies noir novel, wisecracks and tough guy vocabulary and all.

the number 1 thing that one must do is become aware of when their thoughts start wandering, which in itself is a great practice
one that really helps get my mind on track is standing one legged with my eyes closed for 30 seconds when i catch my mind wandering
you could also do the senses method where you notice 4 things you hear, 3 things you see, 2 things you feel, and one thing you smell, etc.
3 centers meditation works great too! focusing the breath into your stomach while visualizing a cleansing energy can help make your mind focus
alas, i'm not you, so i can't do them for you, or know if they are the right step for you. but i do believe they can help you ^_^
