Eh, alright day. Did some spooky gameplay, did some draws.

For the first time in a while I am in a situation where I actually ran out of mony at the end of the month, BUT I have everything I need, and money comes in monday, so I should be fine.

I thought that like a core message of the 90s and 00s era cartoons that I grew up on is that 'there's actually no secret ingredient'... wait... right?

Some newly releses DIY games. The Stalked 2 and THe Jester, more specifically.

And whole bunch of lil' ones also came up today, two of whihch are anthologies with three little games, so I have a lotta spooky to play tomorrow.

I have also been playing "Look Outside" which is pretty fucking good so far.

As for what I draw, aside from some Ponyville unfriendly things, I have started my next big Eshthetics idea which is going to be delightfully silly...

IF I do, I have a gift card for one of the local grovery shops that I got in lieau of payment I would have just had to subtract from my benefits anywya. So I will be fine. But not a great situation. This has ot happened for years, now it's happened twice in four months.

At least, it would have to be completely under the table, which would benefit me more anyway, but that still doesn't solve the "where the fuck would we be" part of it.

Because when I am on benefits, since I am too useless a sack of crap to have a full time job the way the entirety of society is built around expecting everyone to have, I have to report anything I do earn on part time or freelance work so they can deduct it from thsoe benefits.

Their argument: "To make full time employment worth it".

But all it really means is I work for free until someone decides I am worth paying full time pay.

Why hire anyone new if they can just get a free monkey to do the grunt work and spend like, maybe ONE day every two months to "train" someone?

I am not much of a roommate kind of person. Even then, the second we get a bit outside of the rural areas and they have actual rooms, rent raises so high I wouldn't be able to split rent evenly, most likely.

The main reason I can live relatively comfortably is because I live in bumfuck nowhere, where I am clearly intended to stay because I haven o value to anyone who gets to decide what I have to live on.

Eh, it goes. It's barely growing like anything else I do. But I have also been a bit slow with major videos lately.

I did start an art channel a year ago and that's fun to work on too, but it's not like I am rising in the algorhithm.

So that's me in a nutshell. Not being good enough to go anywhere with anything I do, incapable of just being a cog in the machine, and too stupid to quit the former.

Just an idea, but it might be worthwhile to at least try your luck in the city.  maybe stay in a hostel or something for a few weeks while you see what's available?  and just take the bare minimum with you.
Getting your foot in the door is that hardest part, and getting to that point is understandably discouraging.  If nothing else, you're getting paid and can invest your time into ventures that you enjoy!

I mean, I didn't bother with the first switch nor the new XBoxes after 360. If anything, I sold off/put away my old consoles because I was spending more time on PC than console gaming.
And I'm hardly PC gaming these days either.

There's only a few Pokémon games that appealed to me, but I figured it be a waste of money to buy a brand new video game console just for a handful of games.

I will definitely have to just straight up start over from Chapter 1 once this drops. I remember fuck all at this point

Dude, how some of y'all still get ads?
uBlock Origin on Furryfox still works alright unless I'm missing somethin' here. I'll admit though that I sometimes use the YouTube app on my phone for convenience rather than a configurable browser sometimes so I still see some ads.

 No.1187200

>>1187199 AdblockPlus is in a game of cat and mouse with YouTube.  YT changes their site to get around the block, and then ABP has to update to bypass the ads again.  At the moment YT is winning the battle.
Also, hello.

Ah I see. I believe it. Big companies are always trying to step on the little guys. I've been having some good luck with my current adblocker watching my boy Mutahar. Glad to see you having a good time here. Always good to try and get along. I'm alright on my end. Just wish I wasn't so burnt out from my studies.

I caved and got Premium. I use YouTube often enough and often watch it on my TV that it makes sense. Plus, yanno, actually being a (hilariously low tier) YouTuber myself, I do kinda want my views to add a bit to the income of those I watch.

I sure as hell wish it wasn't necessary though. But last time I didn't have it, it was literally unwatchable. I got THREE ad breaks in an eight minute video, and two of them were the same ad. No thank you.

 No.1187203

>>1187201  I might have to try ublock; I just use ABP out of habit at this point because I've been using it for years.  Thanks; I appreciate it.  I've pretty well come to terms with the notion that no one here give a rat's ass about anything I do.  I try not to take it personally.  What's Mutahar up to?  What are you studying nowadays?
>>1187202  I'd considered it because it would be useful on my phone since I drive so much.  Yeah the prevalence of 2+ minute ads is getting ridiculous.

 No.1187204

>>1187203
I wouldn't even mind if it was like... ONE ad break before a video or something. And the ads actually rotated.

But when I get hit with an amount of ads that add up to the same runtime as the video itself, I start to get just a lil bit buttmad.

Fair enough. I don't feel so inclined to get the benefits of Premium myself for my use case.. although I may consider it.

He's lately been talking about the Nintendo Switch 2 and being a Linux advocate in general. Not much other than just being an Indian gamer I'd enjoy watching. I'm just finding my way around the community edition of Burp Suite for bug bounty endeavours. Hard as hell, but I'm told it's potentially a rewarding pathway.

Again, if I didn't do it myself and didn't mostly watch on my TV, I'd probably still just be sticking with AdBlockers.

It's a losing game for viewers AND for YouTubers. Trust me, plenty of folks making these videos aren't happy about their work being interrupted with fuckshit ads every five minutes either.

>>1187205
Being able to skip an ad in modern digital society, what a concept.

It would be nice for the Advanced Package Tool to be unified with Arch's pacman.
I'm having a difficult time integrating the onion routing protocol for anonymized port scanning of domains. There's still a lot to learn that I'm not quite acquainted with yet.

Even the fbi recommends that you use an adblocker. Large companies always have to make life difficult for others.

YouTube prioritizes interaction. Sticking around. Watching for a certain amount of time. Yes, subscriber count does matter, but 1) You'd need a LOT and these scammers will ask for 100s of dollars for Subsbscriber amounts in the 100s which do not have that big a noticable effect and 2) These are "dead" bot subs that do not watch, do not comment, do not like, do not interact. All you will really do is inflate a number that is at most a little bit of the algorhithm boost.
