"Cop" is a job title.
"Soldier/Airman/Sailor/Marine" is a job title.

There are good and bad cops. The problem is the job of policeman. The problem is a lack of accountability and logistics.

These police need to be held accountable; not demonized. Mistakes happen all of the time in every field of work; those where lives are at stake and those that aren't.

Does the family have a right to sue the police department? Absolutely. I think they deserve compensation for that. Are the police evil for making a mistake? No.

Eh, if an Air Force pilot who's now flying for Southwest rapes a little girl or steals from an elderly grandmother or whatever, then that dude gets fired and goes to jail.

A cop does that, and literally nothing will happen to them.

There's a difference with cops. A huge one. A massive one.

Cops have a magical halo. And a magical shield. Americans don't give that, at all, to regular men doing regular jobs.

Not even remotely true. Cops get busted down quite often.
