The entirety of the right worldwide is centered around pissing people off at their own expense and literally nothing else matters to these scumbags. Any time they ask for a 'debate' they do so in order to fling shit they know is wrong and they don't care. Literally nothing matters beyond giving Trump power.

>>15287This is the result of individual and collective trauma. Science has shown that there can be significant changes in the brains of people who have a traumatic experience or live in a chronic stress environment, the most basic and obvious of which is rigid thinking and an inability to adapt to change. Trauma in childhood or chronic stress in later years can cause this.
Rather than seeking healing, a significant portion of Republicans are operating from and carrying out their daily lives from these low-grade neural connections. Most politicians at the top also had at least one traumatic childhood experience from which they base all of their actions; some, however, are not traumatized at all, and just get a sadistic pleasure at damaging the brains of the unsuspecting (although they would still err unwillingly). Next, there are middle-tier Republicans who have suffered trauma and/or stress but aren't smart enough to understand how damaged their brains are. Lastly, there are the uneducated Republicans, most of whom, unless they are lucky, are the most oppressed, usually by the same Republican leaders who think/say/claim they are helping them. A lot of these kinds of Republicans can be found in fundamentalist churches across America, although many of the more educated, because of their trauma, are able to trauma-bond with those across the educational and financial spectrum.
Per usual, the least educated are the most oppressed. The more discord that is generally sown, the more collective trauma there is, and so scientifically-speaking, the more the brain's neural connections get degraded, often (unless a person has a certain degree of self-awareness) unbeknownst to the person who is being affected. The more traumatized people are, the worse their decisions.
So, what about the Democrats? If Republicans are the party of trauma, then Democrats are perhaps the party of pampering.
But what is needed is a party of healing. There is currently no such political party. Hence, why politics are obsolete. There is, however, The Venus Project and other projects like them.

>>15287I'd counter that the American right-wing is nothing if not extremely ideological.
It's a utopian ultranationalism based on the idea that straight white Christian cisgender people who aren't disabled are a kind of master race that built America, with the Founding Fathers being made up of their group exclusively, and they need to restore the U.S. to its former glory by purging society of degenerate, modernist elements ranging from LGBT people to disabled people to Muslims to Jews to Hindus and so on.
Once God's superior chosen people take their rightful place and uphold traditional values upon a populace without sin, the belief goes, then we will have economic progress. We will have social growth. We will have foreign policy achievement.
Trump as President is nothing if not an absolutist and ideological extremist, particularly since he's got Robert F. Kennedy Jr. using the U.S. federal government to enforce the belief that America has too many gay people, people with autism, transgender people, et cetera supposedly because of bad nutrition and chemical pollutants. Stuff like that, Republicans believe, turn little kids from heterosexual to homosexual and do other such things, with to them also ruins those children's lives forever through that mutation.
There's also all of the tough-on-crime and tough-on-immigration alongside tough-on-social-vice crusades done in order to purge American society of what the right-wing views as immoral, disgusting, and degenerate riffraff contaminants who as malformed people damage both social order and higher civilization, according to the Republicans.
And the need to exterminate social supports for disabled people, poor people, and others who're downtrodden by getting rid of Medicare, Medicaid, Social Security, et cetera through Elon Musk's determined efforts is based an ideological conviction about biologically superior people owing nothing to biologically inferior people that basically speaks for itself (supposedly).
As hardline Christian fundamentalists have said for centuries, sin is evil. Evil is sin. Error is sin. Sin is error. Error is evil.
The only way to eliminate error, evil, and sin from society is to be ruthless: you must destroy those who violate God's holy doctrines without mercy, because you shall receive none from them (supposedly).

> There's the far right pipe line of racists. To be entirely honest, I think this problem is one largely built upon left wing ideology more than anything.
When you start arguing on racial lines of 'oppressor' vs 'oppressed', it's inevitable people start looking at it in their own groups...
Race relations have spiked into the red post Obama. And that was after a while of 'I dont see color' type anti-racism.
I grew up in it. I didn't see a difference, as a kid, because nobody even taught me to be aware of it. Johnson, Cole Train, and others like them were just characters to me, no different to anyone else.
And that was echoed by most of those I grew up with.
I think most of the modern racism is just a snap-back response to the racism pushed for ages in a particular direction. An inevitable one at that, frankly.

>>15337I'm talking both sides of extremities. Both the far left and far right act extremely similar. They're both racist, ignorant, close minded and for a lack of a better word, R-Tarded. They both call for violence, think that the other side is completely unreasonable, and would much rather go through some South Park Mel Gibson torture rather than admit that the opposite side of the spectrum has a good idea or two.
I dont care if it's normie or not. Being someone centered seems to have the most reasonable people in its brackets, whether leaning a little to the left or right. Hell, sometimes 'normal' is better. Oh, and each side often calls for a purge. It always boils down to a good old fashioned purge.
