The whole "oh we'll tooootally do better" shit also reads exceptionally hollow when there's literally nothing stopping you, right now, handling a repeat offender in the same way you just did to the Soprano guy. For a far lesser offense, no less. Leaving aside the issue of two-facedness it comes across as, given you insist you have 'bad memory' for Andrea, but it seems to work fine for some tongue-in-cheek condescension, at worst.
Honestly, this right here is my #1 issue with Ponychan mods.
This kind of empty corpo-speak "Oh you're totally right, we need to do better, I'll
absolutely take this statement to heart" garbage gets thrown around every time you guys get called out.
And it's all, always, every single time, just a bold-faced lie.
You COULD make good on it. You COULD do the right thing. You COULD enforce the rules properly.
