it stands fo Zenless Zone Zero, and it's a gacha game by hoyoverse that takes place in a urban sci-fi fantasy world where after a big world event, these Hollows, or pockets of non-euclidian geometry, starts popping up, and humanity has to scramble to adjust to it. It's wonderful cause it's got a very FLCL vibe, and the designs are truly the most unique and fun i've ever seen from such a style of game. While im still more of a Genshin Girl, ZZZ has a special place in my heart
here's a video trailer for the Angels of Delusion, which is an in universe J-pop style girl group that becomes part of the story, and i swear the animations and music videos are worth watching even if you know nothing about the game!

>>1205717i'm doin pretty good!
saw the Super Mario Galaxy movie today! tbh, it was pretty weak storywise, and had a nasty habit of telling us what characters were without actually showing it. Also i think they kinda fumbled bowser's character arc in the movie
however, they packed it with mario references and stuff that was quite fun! and visually it was a gorgeous film, so it was very much a pretty watch.
plus there is a part in the movie that i will spoiler in case you are gonna watch it yourself! but my favorite part of the movie was when
Fox McCloud of Star Fox helps out Mario, Peach, and luigi! and we got to watch him be this kinda fun rogue figure that flew his Arwing to fight bowser jr's forces! honestly if the whole movie was Star Fox, i think it would have been a more enjoyable watch!all in all, i give the movie on a critical level like a 3/10; but on an mario fan and a good time level i'd give a solid 7/10;
your enjoyment of the movie will basically hinge on your familiarity with mario stuff; if you love mario games and other nintendo stuff, you'll probably enjoy yourself; if you are not so familiar, then you might tune out
anywho, how are you?

Yeah, he's just as scared as ghost as before, but that doesn't mean fear can easily be overcome. Plus, isn't his pet dog a ghost now?
He feels second-fiddle around his brother Mario. The irony being despite being the taller brother, he looks up to Mario and wants to be like him.
Nintendo has stated that Mario and Peach are "just friends". However, the "Daisy Circuit" from the Mario Kart games implies Luigi and Daisy are in a commited relationship, given gold statues of both them and baby-versions dancing together.

Yeah, it was shallow. If you don't know Mario or all the references they did, it'd be a pretty garbage movie.
I drilled small holes into the tail and the horse ass and used a tiny piece of wood to connect them. Then lots of super glue. The wood holds the whole thing in place. I hope it's a permanent fix.

>>1205831well tuesday, i have to have 2 crowns put in, which will be so much fun. fortunately medicaid will cover them, but it's still gonna be 2 hours of getting manhandled in the face
on thursday, i will have my first stream, which i'm excited for, but comes with it's own set of nerves.
then on friday is the day i'm supposed to get my dad's taxes done. i'm opting to go with H & R Block, cause doing my dad's taxes by myself seemed overhwhelming and i jsut want help, even if it costs money to do so. however, i'm still waiting for this one thing from the SSA that i need to fill out his stuff, so i'm really really hoping it comes before friday. if it doesn't, i may have to just do his taxes by myself anyways and make some educated guesses, and i'm not thrilled about that prospect, but i'd be given no other choice
and then just the general anxiety of wondering how this probate court stuff is going, when bills will start coming in, and wondering when i will get the proper documentation i need to do some really important things that i can't do until i get them, including transferring the car to my name, and getting the money my dad had in his bank account into my name so i can have more wiggle room to pay bills and the lawyer too
once this next week is done, and i have a better understanding of what i need next, i'm also thinking about going back to work. i'm not in any financial strain yet, but i can sense it on the horizon

After watching "Hop" last night, I had partial dreams that made me come up with my own "Easter Lore". (Though I still think South Park has the best Easter lore yet!)
Some animals are born gifted with higher intelligence that they can learn to speak. They're called fey-born. Two particular animals being rabbits and chickens. At one point in history, rabbits and chickens were at war and the rabbits won, causing somewhat severe consequences for chicken as a race, such as becoming poultry to humans.
Easter could be a holiday organised by fey-rabbits to represent the peace obtained with the fey-chickens, with chocolate given throughout the world to represent world peace.
Traditionally, fey-rabbits skilled in speed are chosen as "Easter Rabbits" while other fey-rabbits and fey-chickens help with Easter management.
If I ever make a story around it, a fey-rooster could regard Easter as a mockery to chickens in general. A reminder of their defeat and how chocolate eggs gifted to humans are a reminder of position of poultry to them.

No.1205924
>>1205923All of 'em in general really.
I've been thinking of making a YouTuber audio podcast series that's a re-adaption of my Ponytale ideas.
Only instead of being based in MLP:FiM, it would be a (mostly but legally enough) original story.
For example, as you know, Epic Mount grew up in Everfree Forest and became badass over it.
In my new take on him, he is Thorn, a barbarian who lives in the Everwood Forest.
I'm still hammering out the new world it will take place in. But I am also thinking of using 15.dev or Deepponies, text-to-speech software of familiar characters, to voice the role of various characters (that may bare some reflection to familiar ponies).
But it won't be a cookie-cutter adaption of Equestria. I am inspired by Conan the Barbarian, Legends of King Arthur and Epic of Gilgmesh.
So far, characters in mind are:
Epic Mount = Thorn, barbarian
Twilight Sparkle = mage and apprentace to the Day Lady
Fluttershy = A druidess who ended up lost in Everwood Forest
Rarity = Handmaiden to the Night Maiden
Applejack = A travelling warrior. (Possibly named Avalon)
Raindow Dash = Desh, a rouge who travels with Avalon.
Pinkie Pie = Either a gypsie or a court jester
Celestia = Day Lady, Priestess of the Light
Nightmare Moon = Night Maiden, Priestess of the Dark.
King Sombra = The Dark King, a BBEG who maybe the cause of the Lost Kingdom.
The kingdom is divided not by "good and evil", but by religious sides taken up by a priestess. Everwood Forest is considered neutral, wild and dangerous territory between this civil war. While the six friends may eventually come together, for now Rarity, Applejack and Dash's counterparts serve the Night Maiden while Twilight, Fluttershy and Pinkie's counterpart serve the Day Lady.
Still WIP and putting things together.
No.1205926
>>1205925I have some of it planned out.
I'm still trying to come up with the world it will be set on.
For example, an island-continent, with Everwood Forest in the middle of it.
Celestia as "Day Lady" and Nightmare Moon as "Night Maiden" may change give or take. I just think making them princesses again would be too cliché, given lots of cartoons have princesses because they're marketable, but never have them queens over some technicality despite the absence of their parents.
(However, if I did make them princesses, they could be fighting over a vacant throne, which would give more reason for their conflict.)
I'd rather it be more of a "red faction vs blue faction" sort of thing than a priestess representing light and all things holy and a priestess representing darkness and all things evil.
As for Thorn's backstory, I've yet to decide if he was kidnapped as a child by harpies and ended up in Everwood Forest, or he had always been there for as long as he can remember.

This barbarian picture is just not turning out as I hope.
I'm all for sketching from base models, but perhaps I should use a more standard model to draw Thorn on. Maybe use NexGen models or something. Or just learn to draw muscular males in a style I can work with.
I should perhaps also consider buying a graphics tablet. Or at least a scanner and go back to pencil-on-paper drawing.

How School Suppresses Magic: Summary of a Leaked Monroe Institute Report for the CIA from the 1970s. Version 5
The school strives to introduce negative reflexes that hinder the realization of paranormal abilities. Below are such generalized reflexes and their antitheses: the reflex of fragmentation of the psyche and fragmentation of perception of the world - the reflex of a holistic psyche; the reflex of a simplified perception of the world - the reflex of an infinitely complex perception; the reflex of the impossibility of something - the reflex of the possibility of everything; the reflex of conceptual accompaniment of a negative reflex - the reflex of amnesia for it; the reflex of a simple explanation - the reflex of a complex, multifactorial explanation oriented towards uncertainty, the probabilistic and observer-dependent nature of phenomena. It is used in higher analytics, for example, for heads of state and multinational corporations; the reflex of another person's opinion as truth - the reflex of another person's opinion as the choice of another observer, but not yours; the reflex of aversion to knowledge - the reflex of interest in independent knowledge; the reflex of habit to the old - the reflex of interest in everything new; the reflex of an unambiguous connection between sensations and meaning - the reflex of a multivariate connection between sensations and many meanings; the reflex of the absolute nature of the material world - the reflex of the probabilistic nature of all phenomena; The reflex of perceiving other people as having simple consciousness; The reflex of excessive dependence on the opinions of other people; The reflex of incomplete realization of the observer's opinion - The reflex of complete realization of the observer's opinion; The reflex of the simple male body; The reflex of personality existence - The reflex of permanent personality; The reflex of unwillingness to change personality - The reflex of the desire to change personality; The reflex of difference and conflict of the sexes - The reflex of identity and harmony of the sexes; The reflex of women's unwillingness to have sex - The reflex of women's desire for sex as an end in itself; The reflex of the sacralization of sex - The reflex of the everyday nature of sex; The reflex of the presence of childbearing in women - The reflex of the absence of childbearing; The reflex of the importance of world events - The reflex of the unimportance of any world events; The reflex of the presence of aggressive people who disagree with the observer - The reflex of the absence of aggressive people who disagree with the observer; Associated positive - The reflex of some people as a spectacle; The reflex of resentment - The reflex of amnesia of resentment; The reflex of guilt - The reflex of amnesia of guilt; The reflex of trauma - The reflex of amnesia of trauma; The reflex of incompetence - The reflex of competence; The reflex of uselessness is the reflex of being in demand by people, other civilizations, and the Universe; related positive ones: the reflex of the presence of elves in the world, the reflex of belonging to the elves; the reflex of learned helplessness is the reflex of omnipotence; the reflex of fixating on a negative event is the reflex of resetting history; the reflex of orientation toward negativity, problems is the reflex of orientation toward complexity and positivity; the reflex of power and the state; the reflex of replacing aggression with fear when feeling sensations in the stomach and muscles is the reflex of feeling the opponent's weakness and aggression towards him with this feeling; the reflex of perceiving the media as a source of objective information is the reflex of perceiving the media as propaganda, the reflex of creating the necessary antithesis for the observer in response to a thesis, distraction, or silence of a negative reflex and any of its derivatives on a topic of interest to the observer, the reflex of amnesia for an unnecessary reflex, the reflex of creating a reflex of information that is positive for the observer. The observer must identify negative reflexes himself, eliminate them, and create new positive ones. He does this in relation to himself and others.
The observer must distinguish between reflex and infinity, which are often confused by mere consciousness. Only the observer himself is infinite, and any reflex and its actuators are finite.
The initial biological stimuli at school are redneck children, the teacher's shouts, grades, uncomfortable postures in class, tension from the duration of stay at school, etc. A conditioned stimulus is everything that falls into the observer's field of attention. This tree of conditioned stimuli and unproductive reactions grows endlessly after school. Understanding the reflex already destroys the reflex. Conceptual thinking often serves an already existing reflex. An example is scientists who substantiate atheism and skepticism. Society forms two lines of defense against magic: conceptual and reflexive.
Due to fragmentation, the observer loses control over parts of their psyche, including fear and doubt, which are inherently beneficial. The reflex of perceiving others as possessing a simple consciousness is necessary because if others are perceived as simple, they do not allow for the existence of the infinite complexity of the universe—that is, magic. For the observer, only people serve as entry points for information about what is and isn't possible. To achieve this goal, the school instills anxiety in people toward other people in general. Anxiety causes people to perceive others as aggressive, that is, guided only by instinct, and therefore stupid.
The school's reflexes lead a person to a state of "I want to believe, but I can't," when they conceptually understand that the multiverse exists and can choose its variants, but are prevented from doing so by reflexes, since reflexes are not subject to conceptual change, but can only be rewritten through psychological work. Reflexes are not self-aware, do not enter into discussions, have no goals, and work automatically. Reflexes have no purpose in relation to the observer—they do not teach, punish, or encourage. Reflexes, in contrast to conceptual thinking, proceed quickly and are felt at the edge of consciousness. This feeling must be used.
The school uses the following methods and mechanisms to install reflexes: reflex; concealment of mental formatting under the guise of teaching; imprint; repetition; duration; redneck children; giving equal value to the opinions of the observer and others in the lesson; concealment of the true picture of the world, when the student is not taught Vedic philosophy, psychology, UFO phenomena, etc. before the start of training; refusal to explain personal benefits of training; interference with sleep (early rising); interference with personal psychological space even at home, for example, through homework; restriction of free time through meaningless homework, summer assignments; threat of physical violence from the state in case of absence from school; harm to health, including scoliosis, vision problems; sexual provocation and frustration; substitution of the concept of unpleasantness of something with fear as a result of multiple repetition; influence during growth; reward and punishment, that is, substitution of the parental figure; devaluation of the self-awareness of the self-caused observer; duration during the day - school with the child even in his sleep; Duration in relation to the lifespan as a whole, that is, 1/7 of life; duration in a year; the transition of negative changes in the psyche to a new quality; the spread of an anxious attitude to the world as a whole through an ever-growing tree of negative reflexes; psychological repression - only 4% remember how they cried in the first grades, although everyone experienced it; the use of parents as agents of the school; the impact on the adrenaline system before waking up, when school and everything connected with it acquire a superpower in the eyes of the child; an excessive number of tests; hysteria before exams; programming of the entire day, starting from waking up.
In men, the school creates a reflex of simple perception of their body, although men and women have the same body parts and dimensions: waist, legs, buttocks, breasts, nipples, facial features and their proportions. As a result, the female body appears more multidimensional to men. Men must create a feminized body. Otherwise, equal communication between people is impossible, which prevents magic. Gender roles are the basis of the egregoric parasitic system. Other manifestations of this system are social norms that dominate individuals. During this practice, a feeling of fear may arise, since the simplicity of the male body is the basis of parasitic egregors. The observer must rewrite his past, present and future in this matter according to all interrelated indicators.
The state, the media, employers, and others use the neuroses created by school as a basis. New neuroses must be eliminated, just like the ones from school.
A complex set of consciousnesses that have agreed on a single reality shares common events. Abstract events can be learned from the media. The media is always subjective. In the human world, the media is always a source of propaganda, that is, deliberate informational influence carried out in the interests of a specific subject. Information can be hidden, distorted, distracted, and a specific coded message can be conveyed. An observer, aware of this, can extract and summarize the desired information quanta. A positive reflex must be developed to perceive the media as always the informational influence of a subject using methods of altering information. The observer must know the methods of imitating the majority, such as the use of bots.
People remember only 6% of what they learn in school, but the system hasn't changed in 150 years. There's no criticism of this system in the media, despite the fact that proposals to halve the length of school, abolish grades, eliminate unnecessary homework, and encourage independent learning have been made for 100 years. Although mainstream psychology believes that all problems stem from childhood, it never mentions school as the biggest factor in the development of neuroses. The importance of school as a system of reflexes is evidenced by the phenomenon of mowgli children.
Before school, a child asks about 150 questions about the world, and after a few months of first grade, they no longer ask any. The same thing applies to drawing. Before school, a child perceives the world as a whole, imbuing it, for example, with consciousness, even in toys. This is analogous to shamanic rituals. Before school, a child fears visitations from nocturnal entities, but after school, they don't. That is, before school, the child considers them real.
School in its current form emerged in the early 19th century, when magical thinking was combated.
Some people have a biological immunity to school reflexes. Others are helped by an "anti-school ritual," where parents explain the essence of school not as learning, but as the installation of negative reflexes. Adults are helped by creating such a conversation in the past.
In order to overcome the consequences of the school, a person, along with removing its reflexes, must meditate on emptiness; to study the theory of systems, including the concepts of tensile strength, synergy, transition of quantity into quality, the necessary complexity and diversity of the control system in relation to the controlled one; quantum regularities; non-binary thinking; the possibility of proving two contradictory ideas; to study the Art of War by Sun Tzu; to study the concept of the multiverse.
The observer must abandon the instincts of social domination and identities.
School neurosis is compounded by pharmaceutical companies that don't address the root cause, but only exacerbate it.
In the US, the real body that approves the curriculum and school schedule is the National Security Council.
In men, the school suppresses the awareness of the dimensions and body parts that both men and women have: waist, legs, butt, breasts, nipples, facial features and their ratio.
At the beginning of the practice, you may feel cotton-wool in your whole head. This is disorientation due to the change of options and it passes. A similar drying can be in the back of the head when rewriting reflexes.
The observer must replace the negative system of reflexes with a positive one – the reflex of the integrity of the psyche, the reflex of only subjective perception, etc. Reflexes must be rewritten in a person's past by recreating this past: imitation of the environment, imagination, use of photographs, etc.
The world can be considered as a set of reflexes of the global consciousness of the observer. Any chain of events is a consequence of a reflex, and this awareness leads to the collapse of the chain. The observer is the master of the chain, and each of its elements is not a subject. Usually, parasitic information ascribes to themselves absolute qualities, such as self-causality or infinity; However, as a result of realization, they are deprived of these qualities. Consequently, the whole system, which is harmful to the observer, is destroyed because its supposed complexity does not correspond to its actual simplicity, which stems from the original reflex in the sequence. At the same time, the disappearance of the consequences of reflexes means the disappearance of stimuli, and therefore of the reflexes themselves. None of the information chains has the properties they claim to have, since the reflex does not have the intelligence to describe anything. In addition, the chain does not have the right to its long-term elimination, since this is also a reflex.
The correct feeling of aggression due to the weakness of the opponent, readiness to eliminate him, because of the school reflex is mistakenly perceived as fear, since in both cases there is a compression of the abdominal muscles and tension of the muscles of the body as a whole. This school reflex must be rewritten.
Doubt and fear from a reflex, any of its derivatives, do not exist, since the reflex and the wires from it are incapable of analysis.

>>1206019I'm a bit stuck with it.
So far I have roughly three premise to choose from:
1. More like Equestria.
Basically, just take my MLP:FiM fanfic ideas and just rename stuff while still keeping things relatively the same. It's more of an ideal choice, but at the same time I feel it's a bit cheap given I'm taking another story than making it truly my own.
2. Priestesses and the Dark King.
I like the idea of replacing princesses with priestesses. In adventure fiction, priestesses are often depicted as beautiful and at times just as regal as royalty, but without the royal baggage.
High Priestess Aurelia (vo. Celestia) and Priestess Argenta (vo. Luna) were worshippers of the Element of Light. However the Dark King (vo. Sombra) has taken over the land and swayed Argenta to be his queen.
3. Former king and his daughters.
A king has died and the throne is left for two sisters. Princess Aurelia is the eldest thus sucessor, but Princess Argenta challenges her for the throne. It could turn out the king was likely a dick, maybe abusive to his daughters, but still played favourites with Aurelia. Aurelia never liked her fathers way of ruling while Argenta was jealous she never got her fathers favour.
I'm not really fond of these choices for various reasons.
I don't really want it to be a "black and white" sort of thing. Aurelia as good and pure while Argenta becomes bad and corrupted. I'd rather it be "red and blue", as in both sides at odds but for different morals than bad and good.
I mean, I kind of like the Nightmare Moon Takeover timeline and want to work something like that in the story, but not make Argenta inheritedly evil.
Argenta just wants to get out of her sisters shadow and be of equal importance to her. She presents herself as domineering and powerful when really it's to conceal her doubts of her rulership.

>>1206021Yeah. I'm still sort of carving out the world though. I am thinking a kingdom divided into three regions. Aurelia rules the west region and Argenta took over the east. The middle is where Everwood Forest is.
So far, the story I have in mind is the kingdom is divided by two sisters. The heart of the kingdom is Everwood Forest, a place considered dark and foreboding to both sides, but a few neutral towns and settlements outside of it.
When rumours of a guardian spirit that resides in the forest turns out to be a barbarian just squatting there, the sisters send out parties of three to try and recruit Thorn to "their side".
Maybe, Argenta was corrupted by the Dark King, who turns out to be the BBEG, manipulated Argenta for events to free him from a Tartarus of sorts.
I dunno, perhaps I'm overthinking this when the overall idea is a video series that consist of 6-8 semi-animated audioplays.

>>1206023No, I might have to start over with it, or choose another model.
I might also need to consider buying a graphics tablet. Drawing by mouse is not the same as with stylus. And using my old drawing tablet just isn't the same as seeing exactly where the stylus/pencil is drawing on the screen/page.
As for Thorn himself, I've yet to decide if I want to rewrite his backstory.
Epic Mount's backstory was that he was a little foal from a far away land, taken by harpies and dropped into Everfree Forest.
I could effectively reuse that story, or I may have it that Thorn has been alone in Everwood Forest for as long as he can remember.
But, I like the idea of him coming across a slight rusted battleaxe lodged into a tree stump, tangled in thorny vines. The day he pulled that axe from the stump was the day he became a man!
(I call it Axecalibur, but will likely remain nameless.)
Thorn grew up in Everwood Forest, with only the witch doctor from far away lands who adopted him. The witch doctor taught him the common language and educated him in plants and herbs.

>>1206026I might have ideas for...
The Lost Kingdom.(Spoilers if I ever did decide to make this series and have this, so don't read if you want to wait for something that may never happen.)
While the sisters civil war divides the land, a long time a go, there were three tribes. I've yet to give them names so let's call them the Red tribe to the west, the Blue tribe to the east and the Green tribe at the centre.
While the tribes were warring amongst one another, the Green Tribe did not just conquer with might, but united the tribes into a kingdom and ruled justly. Imagine Camelot crossed with Heorot. The people of the Green tribe were legendary, some may say were titans or giants themselves. The Dark King came and fought with the kingdom. While the kingdom successfully imprisoned the Dark King, not without loss. The "Lost Kingdom" refers to the Green tribe who the Dark King destroyed before his imprisonment. While the Red and Blue tribes stayed united, the ruling Green tribe and its warrior people were forgotten.Perhaps the old castle ruins found in Everwood Forest bares some clues on what happened to the Lost Kingdom. >>1206095Nintendo Ninjas is both an internet meme and urban legend.
It's basically a nickname for Nintendo's legal team whenever they go around taking down fan games, leaks, and ROM sites. Given how efficient and at times, aggressive they are as a legal team, they're called ninjas.
While they're no more than lawyers and employees, they've slipped into urban legend status under the belief Nintendo will send actual ninjas to "persuade" certain people to stop what they're doing on behalf of Nintendo. Often depicted as ninjas, businessmen, or in my case, a mix of both, and sometimes using Nintendo controllers as actual weapons.
As for the Sega Yakuza, I "mostly" made it up. There is an old story that a video game company hired the yakuza to persuade someone to join them instead of Nintendo. I think that persons' family was threatened. But the threats didn't fall through, and they joined Nintendo in the end. It was never stated to be Sega, but most believe it was them who hired the mafia to headhunt an efficient programmer.

For as long as I've known him, he tends to "fabricate" the truth. I believe it's because he has always been bored with his lifestyle. I believe he also tells fibs to me, whenever to make himself sound more interesting, or to straight up lie out of things he is too lazy to do.
For example, he is perfectly capable of taking the train by himself, and has been to bigger towns not far from where I live. But says he can't take the train by himself to visit me.
Ever since I moved away, I've been visiting him every now and again, but never once he came to visit me. Is that too much to ask?
But, despite feeling he is never honest with me like normal friends are, I still regard him my best friend given the circumstances of our childhood together. He's not a bad person, we became friends because we were in the same rooms together and had a fair bit in common. But every time he talks to me, I feel like I have to take what he says with a grain of salt. I feel guilty because I regard him my best friend, but also know him telling fibs, especially to me, is not a healthy thing for friendship.
I asked him if instead of waiting for me to come off the train at 10:41, he and his mother simply take the train themselves and go to where I live.
He should have no excuse not to at this point. But if he cooks up some bullshit why not, then I'm just going to call the whole thing off.
