No, he's not mentioned. The show is set 15 years after New Vegas.

Instead we see a Lacerta Legate who looks rather like someone who should never be left home alone..

But to try and give a quick summary;

Ceaser is dead. As seen in the image I first posted at the start of the thread he is a skeleton being propped up and semi deified, you know like how North Korea treat the corpses of their former leaders. It's not confirmed how he died so hey feel free to say it was your courier who 360 noscoped him if you want that to be your own headcanon. The show has not confirmed any endings of New Vegas to be canon but the NCR are in small numbers, the Legion are still kind of sort of around and so are the Khans. If you ask me it sort of feels like the independent/yes man ending in which you tell everyone to fuck off and they do but promise to come back later feels like it fits best.

Anyways in the years since Caesars death the Legion split in two with two rival factions forming both with their own Caesar and with both claiming to be the "real Legion" and the rightful heirs to Caeser and so both these sides are stuck in a stalemate civil war type of deal

Not super surprising, and Joshua Graham and Ulysses both said that that would happen.

I'm curious if the Courier will be mentioned. They would technically still be alive. Though doubt would be physically shown.

Agreed, like I said I'm not the biggest fan of the show but they have done the Legion justice. Like you said multiple people ingame tell you they think once Ceaser dies the Legion will either split or start to slowly die.

It's also realistic given this kind of thing has happened in real life in history many times, even more so in groups being lead by a highly charismatic leader for example look at Islam; When Muhammad died you his followers very quickly split into two

You had one side saying that he told them his family should lead them while the other side claimed they should elect their own leader. This was over a thousand years ago and Shias and sunnis  are still arguing, fighting, going to war and killing each other over it
