No, I've never heard those songs. I was inspired by the large amount of Scratchtavia fics that already existed and I wanted to throw my own hat in the ring, just for fun.

It's more of a personal writing challenge for me than something that's supposed to be super unique.

Not that my dumb ass is a "writer" by any stretch outside of the few short comics and the game I made, but I've learned by now that chasing "uniqueness" in your art is a losing battle anyway.

It's ALWAYS going to be reminiscent of something else somehow. That's part of the deal and the appeal. "Amateurs Borrow, Professionals Steal" exists for a reason. Might as well just have fun

Planning? What planning? Lmao. I just wrote it off the top of the dome. Barely even edited it, too.

It actually did come back to bite me as I completely forgot where I was going with it for a while, but then I recalled the main plot point and was able to continue.
