was watching a video about ponies running a ponycon seemingly going wrong. it has left me with the impression that ponycons may have become a standardized commodity. is a ponycon even a ponycon amymore if ponies need the money from it in order to live or are looking for a specific ponycon experience (say for nostalgia or to share with their kids) - or is it just something more like every other anime convention in existence, disney world, or perhaps even a fair ---- but with ponies?

also any plans for ponycons next year?

I only now realized there was actually a small convention in town this year. Maybe I'll give it a whirl if it has a 2026 edition.
