>>1200041A lot of things depend on luck in content creation, and pretending otherwise is at best naive. There are plenty of folks who work very hard and just never hit that good stride.
I mean, I have been doing some form of online content over a decade and a half, and it's not like I've had any major success. I've had like one or two videos that surprisingly popped off (on a small scale), but neither lead to any major growth. Probably isn't helped by me wearing a lot of different hats, but whatever.
It's frustrating and draining, but I really dunno what else to do. Even in these long quiet periods, I do enjoy making all this stuff. I just also tend to fall into a "clearly nothing I make is good / will ever be good" mindset when next to none of it ever seem to attract any attention.
Not healthy, I know, but also hard not to do.
