Well, I re-loaded over and over for the things I messed around with; i.e., trying to find the random encounters, and murdering everyone in various towns.

It's not really open world, but you can get into late game areas relatively early if you're strong enough to survive the monsters

I love Final Fantasy XII's world by the way.
Necrohol of Nabudis is such an amazing name too.

Funny enough, yes.

I don't think I ever saw the jokes yet, but Judges in FF XII and in FF TA play a very different role.

Also clans and Montblanc are from FF TA

I failed to respond to this for a week even though I opened it, but the latest Dune game. Like I'm aware there *is* a story, and I just do not care, I'm there to scavenge stuff in the desert and I spent 70 hours on that rather than ever doing the story.
