As someone who has always been into mysteries and unexplained stuff Youtube keeps suggesting me this video and although I have not watched it I already know the answers so here goes

Top left; Real. It's her mother accidentally photobomibng, you are seeing the back of her

Top right; Real. Some bloke with a nasty skin disease who only went out at night.

Bottom left; Real. Some random kid running around a house accidentally photographed and for some reason people thought it was a spooky ghost

Bottom Right; Fake, classic photoshop

It's rather fascinating that Raymond Robinson, in the top right, wasn't just a regular guy with a normal name but actually was an arts and crafts specialist who made leather items at home, such as wallets, and all around a caring, generous man.

His habit of going on very long walks very late at night absolutely did cause legends to spring up about him, but then it makes sense that he and his family had the attitude of, basically, just: "If I want to exercise, then it's my right. And other people can be weird if they want to be weird. Their choice."

Funny thing. Catching some Star Wars as a child, I wasn't really shocked by the plot twist.

I really thought he was purposely named "Dark Father" because he was the dad of the main character and he was evil.

Hey, Maroon, have you ever watched Wendigoon's 9 hour video on the conspiracy iceberg?

I think it's one of the most interesting stuff to put up in the background when doing something boring.

>Unsolved

Strange how in this separate photo taken just a minute prior to the "spaceman" photo you can see her mother behind her who just happens to be wearing clothes that are the same colour as the "spaceman" right?

Since the pandemic I have been drawn to stuff like Unsolved Mystery icebergs and the likes.

It is sometimes an exciting topic, although I still have not fallen too far into believing those stuff as fact.

It does get interesting to recognise the sort of conspiracies in the open that I wasn't aware of before.

I think some of the more interesting ones are the people that just seem to vanish into thin air. Look at Andrew Gosden who disappeared at 14 in 2007 after getting on a bus to London after skipping school. Never seen again, just seemed to poof out of existence.

Those are the ones that creep me out

I wonder how many people have been straight up kidnapped, tortured, and murdered, (or kept alive to this day only to be tormented), that have gone unnoticed or at the very least, will have never been found. I wonder how many in places like the United States that happens alone.

I would think that a large number of those cases involve people dying of accidental causes, such as individuals being hit by motor vehicles, and the bodies just don't get identified in a way that's linked to anybody in a concrete way.

Which is, of course, not 'mysterious' but sure as hell still is pretty scary in an upsetting and unhappy way.

Whenever you hear about people being kidnapped and held hostage in basements for years and in some cases decades it does rather worry you thinking that right this very second there are probably many more people who went missing currently stuck in such awful nightmare conditions

Right now around 93,000 people are missing unsolved cases in America

I mean here in the UK london is a big place thats always busy everywhere but people still just drop off of the map and go missing

Although quite a few end up being suicides. Sadly quite a few bodies tend to get dug up out of the various rivers around London every year

I remember this one really interesting episode of the British TV show 'New Tricks' in which this young boy has mysteriously disappeared for years and years, with not just the police officers for decades baffled but neighbors from the area feeling confused as all hell in a scared, worried way.

It turns out that the kid was literally picked up and hoisted away from the neighborhood by his biological father who'd just kind of showed up out of nowhere and then left Britain soon-ish afterwards, away from the child's other family, his classmates, his friends, and so on.

While fiction, of course, it does demonstrate the truth that sometimes people just sort of seemingly "poof", and then learning the truth is depressing at a level to where you wonder if it helps that much.
