eh, it happens. ...finally cooling down slightly here but still hot

It's cooling down where I live as well.
But given Summer is just starting, who knows when the next heatwave will hit.

I had outside window shutters installed and it keeps temperatures 2 - 3 degress below what I usually have.

But 28 °C is still a lot.

Summer is the worst season and it sucks that it feels like it drags on forever. Not quite as long as winter does but it just draggggs.

Autumn/Fall is the best season. All those orange and yellow leaves, cool winds, warm clothes and hot chocolate. Can't wait.

Although of course unlike summer Autumn seems to go by super quick. One minute it's all yellow leave and beautiful sunsets then a month later and its pitch black, wet and freezing cold and all the trees are dead.

I like Autumn purely for its chill weather. Autumn where I live is nothing like television. No golden leaves or pumpkin spice vibes. Mostly dreary weather, but if lucky you get sunny days that are still chill.

I also like winter because I'd rather be freezing my ass off than melting.
