I know ai is the big bad thing of possibly the decade but it's like yeah and? It's like showing a study that people who just copypaste the answers to a test don't understand what the test was supposed to be teaching them as well. That doesn't mean llms don't have their uses though but obviously don't expect them to make you smarter by them feeding you answers.

So there was an actual study, no idea if that's what this one is referring to. It measured people over three months of using LLMs for all your coursework, using Google, and using neither of those things. It concluded there was a significant downturn in the people using LLMs, which as mentioned before maybe isn't any surprise. But also I think the study totalled like 52 people?
