“Fish tank”

Caged behind walls I cannot see, The water is filling my lungs, Like poison it’s burning within me,

Drowning under what has been done, I feel unsure what I’m supposed to be,
Been stuck in place for way too long,
I am a believer in destiny,
But I could still be wrong,

And when I lost you my heart sank, I just can’t stay here forever, Being your pet in this fish tank,
Because I felt we’d drown together, But in my back you stuck your shank,
And the unity had to sever,
The blood I bled could’ve filled a bank, Now when I think of here I just suffer, I need to go where my memory is blank, My happiness felt here is present never
