Do you like burgers? I love burgers. In fact, I love burgers so much that I think we should devote considerable resources to rendering extinct the lone-star tick.  What do you think?

Not my most favorite food. I have a simple cheese burger at times.

I'm a fan of the Big Tasty if I have the appetite for it.

Deep-psychologically-speaking, the word "burger" sounds like "burglar," and such is the case -- after all, is not a burger merely nothing more than the food-equivalent of a pony's flank, which is itself an abstraction of the human pelvis, infused with the spiritual dimension of the cutiemark? And what is is inside this flank? Well, nothing less than anything a pony's appetite may desire. In such a greed-based society as ours, is it any wonder, then, than burgers are so popular? --Both as a way to indoctrinate unsuspecting youth as well as a means for the peasantry to indulge in the same vice that has captured the elite, if only on a more basic level and more temporarily.

It should also be considered that alpha gal syndrome may be the way the lone-star tick defends the animals it feeds on from competition, such as humans.

Given and despite these, I would, however, concur with the need to do something about the vampire bats. (I think the Mane 6 gave them an orchard for themselves or something in that episode.)

Indeed. The hamburglar, a humorous projection, externalization, and normalization of our own greed, expressed in the food-item, the burger.

Hence, why the unfortunate scene on which this image is based (where the artist appears to try and fail to make Twilight's indulgence look cute) shall never be canon, as Twilight Sparkle would have never eaten the way she did simply because she hadn't eaten in a long time. The scene was probably the result of the writer just personally thinking it would be funny for Twilight to do, without due consideration.

I hate Texas a much as the next person, but I don't think we need to eliminate them or compare them to ticks.
