Hello ponies,

What's your relationship with your pony plushie and/or pony plushies like? Do you have any tips for healthy plushie relationships?

If you smooch them too much, your saliva might leave trails that get really stinky after a while!

Remember to brush too!

Ah yes, that's a classic one of course. Plushies do seem to like being clean (as they can be). But how do you know if a plushie even wants to be, eh.. smooched, as it were?

That's true. It can be difficult to tell from just their facial expression and body language alone, I think. Yet, they are (perhaps innately) cute, cuddleable plushies, so it's quite the conundrum, it seems.

OK, I asked Applejack plushie and Twilight Sparkle Bookhorse plushie while I was passing by them. Applejack plushie said no and Twilight Sparkle Bookhorse plushie just wanted her ears scritched. Then I asked Fluttershy plushie, and she said she was fine just relaxing cutely. I was going to ask Pinkie Pie plushie, but I didn't want to deal with her antics right now. Great advice.

I treat my plushies exactly how I treat myself.

Which is to say that we mostly sit here and gather dust.  Together!

I don't actually have a photograph of the stuffed husky that I've currently got, I think, housed in a grocery store bag right now (alongside some various other things that I'm trying to double-check), but this picture from Google Shopping is pretty close. And it's a great image, regardless.

I don't have tips. Though. Just be happy with your life as best you can. I suppose.

Ah, so just little-known spiritual knowledge. The term "cult" is typically derogatory and rarely used in academic circles, except in the few cases where it applies. Many so-called cults have all the requirements needed to meet the definition of a religion. In fact, if a pony wanted to, they could just go down the checklist of formal requirements for a religion to make a new one, and academically-speaking, it would be indistinguishable from a more well-established one.

 No.1193839

>>1193836
>>1193836
That sounds like something a member of an Academically inclined cult would say!

 No.1193847

File: 1750280447328.png (807.29 KB, 3420x3288, 285:274, correct.png) ImgOps Google

>>1193839

Oh, no no no... Cults will have charismatic leaders who isolate and exploit their members. A new religious movement, however, just has to meet the general guidelines for a religion. These include:
1. Sacred ritual, rites, sacrament, and scripture
2. Divine beings or conceptualizations of the divine
3. Social formation around the religion
4. Cosmogony (explanation of the origin of the universe)
5. Diagnosis of the human problem (what is the core human flaw?)
6. Theodicy (i.e.: why is there evil or suffering in the world?) (supported by morality and ethics)
7. Soteriology (how do you achieve salvation?)
8. Eschatology (what's the ultimate fate of individuals?)

So, as long as a belief system has some form of the above and is absent the indicators of a cult, then it can be considered a legit religion, regardless of how popular it is or what established religious authorities say. It's quite simple, really.

plushies do seem to like to be hugged <3, especially before going to bed

>>1193852
Of course not. But if I were, I would know exactly how to do it -- minus the charisma ...and the lack of moral and ethical consideration needed in order to comfortably isolate and exploit my members ...so, I probably wouldn't do a very good job even if I were. I am flattered you think I would be able to do, though.

Now, if I were to make a pony religion, however, I might start with some basic answers such as...

1. pony watching, pony cons, pony raves, canon pony episodes, pony plushies
2. celestia, luna, mane 6, a few other ponies
3. social media, pony video games, pony cons
4. (need to work on this one)
5. the problem is not being friends with everypony
6. why is there disharmony even though we have a princess of friendship? (need to work on this one -- maybe something to do with the tree of harmony and/or everfree forest?)
7. by making some friends
8. to become an alicorn pony princess
