Do you have autism, though? Like every single study that every single person with autism that I've ever interacted with in my entire life has involved praise for cigarettes and other such things.

I've never used anything harder than weed.

Nicotine makes me feel nervous, I hate it. Alcohol is a no cause it gives me high blood sugar so it just makes me more ill than most.

THC on the other hand is kind of a crapshoot for me, some strains of weed are great and makes me euphoric and deeply relaxed, while others can trigger anxiety or intense mood swings, though usually only if I use too much too quickly. I apparently experience all the psychedlic effects of THC too including perception distortion and pleasure enhancement, plus it works like an aphrodisiac at times. I don't think that being on the autism spectrum really effects how THC works for me since most of those experiences are pretty common apparently.

Are you making a mistake?  I don't think so, THC is at best a temporary stress reliever, I use it primarily to help me sleep and deal with stomach issues, though the appetite stimulation can sometimes lead me to fuck up my blood sugar so I try to keep low carb snacks on hand.

Weird ass question. "I don't do drugs am I stupid?" Yeah, man, you should do drugs, you surely won't regret doing drugs. Drugs are definitely the answer.

Oral fixation can be a thing in people with autism.

Dealing with strictly illegal things is harder to follow. Social connecting is hard enough. I'd really don't want to have to network to get illegal stuff and I probably won't do well keeping my illegal details in secrecy.

I'm clean of alcohol, tobacco and drugs as well.

Doesn't mean I don't have any other consumable problems, such as fizzy drinks, chocolate and snacks.

Not indulging in substances doesn't make you stupid. I've seen people destroy their entire lives while drunk before.

Weed and mushrooms are great! But you shouldn't feel pressured into doing them. If you want to take a bong hit because you want to relax, that should be enough reason alone. If you want to trip balls on mushrooms because you want a spiritual experience, are bored, or just enjoy the feeling, those are perfectly good reasons.

But yeah, abstinence doesn't make you stupid.

Don't trust that Gwern post about nicotine!  Cigarettes are horrible and you will get addicted if you use them.  If you must try nicotine, use the transdermal patches.

The only semi-legal drugs that I'd endorse are "research use only" GLP-1 agonists, and only if you can't get the FDA-approved version at a reasonable price.

And definitely don't abuse ketamine!

Taking a high dose of mushrooms is an insane experience. It's like falling into the backrooms of reality while having flashes of profound insight as to how the universe and reality really work. At times it feels like you're awakening to some cosmic secret that is as fleeting as it is vast and deep. Like peaking into a higher dimension. I remember this one moment where I was having a closed eyed visual; out of body and floating into the void. I saw visions of purple meat being chopped and packaged on a conveyor belt, getting slapped by a hand and jiggling before the next piece was in line. I felt like I floated out of the purple stuff and had a strange Horton Hears a Who moment. Like our universe was but a tiny molecule in some giant universe of uncomprehesible dimensions.

DMT was pretty wild. On some levels even more intense than a high dose of mushrooms. (In a lot of ways actually, but it is different.)

I actually felt like I talked to God, or something of a higher plane of existence. I was greeted by these strange jester like beings with geometric features and clown like polyshaped bodies and faces. It was both like they were made of the most complex patterns and yet were as simple as a ninetendo 64 character. Red and white diamonds.

And they were beckoning me. They were pleased to see me. They said they had been waiting for me. It was strange.
