Do you get advertisments about "creating an AI wife" or that sort of thing a lot, /pony/?
Regardless of whether or not you do, what do you think of them?
Also, like, isn't it weird as hell to see them pop up in instances that're really jarring: like literally alongside documentaries about actual Nazis and whatnot?

>>1192617Yup, I see such ads on Twitter occasionally. Seems kinda pointless unless it has a body that you can bang. I wonder how long away we are from humanoid robots that can clean and do simple cooking. Maybe 2--5 years? Once we're there, it should be easy to add a fleshlight insert to get a robo bangmaid.

Youtube has been distinctive
On my TV, most ads are milquetoast. Insurance / Grocery store / Alcohol / Politics /.... The standard stuff mostly.
Although I absolutely hate how prolific advertisement has become on youtube. Like a 10 minute view has about 3 blocks of unskippable 1 minute+ ads now.
On my laptop, ads are crazy.
Mobile ads, disgusting mobile ads (among which where a dude jacking off and squirting his goo over a woman was theheight of the joke - in the middle of a kidfriendly video- oh, but say suicide once as a creator and get taken down!!!)
Also so many Crypto / AI scams - passive income scams.
And even weirdly ads for cults or something. Like, there was an ad once about some humanist who discovered a revolutionary way of living that will be the next step of human evolution. What was it? - no information- only that all the world's scientists are working together to shut up this amazing new philosophy. But go and join their seminar to find out!

I refuse to disable uBlock Origin on sites that it doesn't break, so I never see YouTube ads in a browser, but on stuff like Twitter or the YouTube app, I think I vaguely remember seeing something about an AI girlfriend or something similar, but I learned to completely tune out ads a long time ago, so I never remember them for very long. And all AI ads kinda blend together.
I also disable watch history in YouTube and heavily police privacy settings in every online platform that I regularly use, so I never get personalized ads. The closest things to that that I get are ads for stuff that's in my area, but even then I suspect it's just a Mad Libs-style search and replace (i.e., "Buy Real Estate in <your city here>")

I use adblock. No money for them.

It was ironic watching Folding ideas' The line goes up video being constantly interrupted by crypto ads.
