I tried to buy crypto one time because etherium had recently gone To The Moon and some of my friends had made money on it or something like that.

I accidentally made two accounts, put £50 in one which I couldn't retrieve without verifying my identity, then verified the wrong account so there was no way to get my £50 back.

And then both eventually got deleted for inactivity because I was so salty about screwing myself out of £50 that I didn't touch them again.

But no, I haven't been super burned on either. I think they're both kinda dumb and unnecessary.

Not really. I've made more money (in absolute terms) by investing in index funds than I made in crypto. (Percentwise, my ROA has been much greater in crypto, though. I should have invested more! Oh well, hindsight bias.)
