Have to go with Y2K just for the Space Channel 5 mention.

In the pursuit of minimalism, we lost something truly special along the way
Bring back Y2K and see through colored tech and edgy tech!

I prefer the style on the left. It's fresher.

I gotta go with the one on the left. The Y2K aesthetic was always kinda ugly in my opinion. Plus I associate it with the ridiculous campiness of movies like Hackers. The Frutiger aero was always nicer and sleeker in my opinion, a nice balance between the excesses of the y2k aesthetic and total minimalism

>>1186146>>1186147I remember catching that movie randomly om TV one time, amd the only scene I actually remember is when they hack the personal ads in the newspaper to have some business guy (I think the principal of their school) recieve a LOT of sexual phone calls - particularly one that said "I wanna spank you with a wet newspaper!" in a raspy voice. Still makes me laugh to think about.

If e're talking about aesthetics in general, what would you call the kind of aesthetic in this picture?
I call it "fleshpunk" myself, though I also heard it being called "biopunk".
