Finding the right combination of foundation, concealer and color corrector to cover up my beard shadow is really fucking taxing on my executive dysfunction. There so god damn many brands of foundation and shades of each brand that it induces a ton of decision paralysis

Yeah, I've been collecting a lot of e.l.f. make-up products (cause they're a popular seller at my store and fairly cheap), but I gotta admit, I am kinda curious about Urban Decay or Benefit or MAC, but I could buy a switch game for the price of one compact of powder foundation

Also can I just vent my frustration with my eyeliner application practice? You know many times I've poked myself in the eye today?

I suggest: give the options to an LLM (GPT-4o, Claude Sonnet 3.5, or DeepSeek v3/r1), tell it to pick exactly one, and just go with its answer.

Well, there is no one size fits all answer for that given that the point of foundation and concealer is essentially to create a homogenous 'canvas' for the rest of one's makeup to be applied on top of that matches one's natural skin tone. I've yet to find one that matches my natural skintone, which I'm struggling to identify precisely, so I would need an ai that can analyze my skin tone(s).

On top of that other kinds of makeup like blush, bronze, eyeshadow, brow pencils and highlighters are also effected and picking the right colors of those is also a excersize in decision paralysis cause holy shit are there a ton of each of those too

I suppose I naturally tend to hyperfocus on a lot of things, which usually have nothing to do with appearances. For instance, I filmed a video of this local wild rabbit yesterday that I then put on Google Guide. The 'red eye effect' is honestly hilarious. And it looks almost as if the fluffy creature is demonically possessed, am I right?

Oh, I meant it's an interesting hyperfocus cause it's actually kind of a complex hobby with a lot of techniques to learn. But that's me, I tend to be a bit of a hobby tourist cause I like exploring and discovering stuff for myself.

There can definitely be a lot of overlap in themes.

Especially if you go for certain kinds of melodic or power metal.

Nightwish and their "saying absolutely nothing with a lot of pretty sounding words" approach to lyrics come to mind.
