Merry Christmas everyone! I hope everyone had a wonderful day, and spent time with the ones you love <3

Ah yes. Let us  all celebrate the commercial part!

But yes, it was a lovely time, and I got some pretty nice things.

For one, my newphews gave me a gnarly looking Venom t-shirt. I am just gonna go ahead and consider that a "cool uncle" status symbol.

My sister and her husband got me Betrayal at the House on the Hill, since I started asking for board games. I do need to gather some friends to play it with, but it looks like a ton of fun.

Lastly, parents got me the 100 Years of Disney lego set - a big film camera complete with a film strip that shows Lego-fied screenhots from Disney movies through the century. I dunno where to put it and still need to build another LEGO set from my birthday, but I am looking forward to this one. I need to finally like, re-organize my place to find somewhere to put these things.

Oh, and I got a nice little painting of a ladybug from my three-year old niece. She's also finally warming up to me.

Since we do all our celebrating on the eve of the 24th, rather than force her to stay up late and wait, we kind of let her open presents during the day (provided she asks nicely first, sine she does - and she also gives us whatever she made).

I gave her a Lego set of the new Little Mermaid movie, and we actually sit down together to build and play with it for about an hour and a half. Considering she usually far prefers my parents, this is a big step.

And sure. Have a nice danish one.

They're 14 and 18. I think they can handle their own bedtimes.

Well I mean, I always liked board games, just never lived near any friends that play money or could afford the cool ones. But I've been playing more regularly with a friend of mine, SO I figured "Screw it". They're still cool to have.

Oh it rules. Again, just gotta figure out where the hell to put it
>Pic

Mmhmm. I mean, her concentration only lasted so long, but I made sure she was part of actually building the damn thing.

Fuck that, I'm going to the Shadow realm myself, place sounds metal as hell.

It is pretty goddamn cool, can't lie. And sitting around building Lego is really just super fun and relaxing.

Hehe, I suppose. But again, she's like 3. Having to wait to play with the damn thing is a bit much. But like I said - made a game of it by getting her to dig out the pieces we needed for each step. And she's smart enough to pull stuff like giving you the wrong brick on purpose as a joke, so we had a lot of fun.

MotherFUCK
let's try a complete potato video quality vesion then

Don't think I've come across that one.

*sigh*
Well, it's from the right show, and it's the right singer, but not the song I was trying to share. That was the theme song, which is way more chipper than this.

Try searching more specifically for the song "Muligvisvej".

But whatever, this is still very nice.

okay, i got this one! gives me 80s anime vibes

 No.1181579

I, uh, dunno exactly how you get THAT vibe, but whatever. As long as you're enjoying the songs. That one in particular is one of my favorites of more modern (as in, "released in my lifetime" - it's from '98) Christmas songs.

Doesn't hurt that this guy was a very famous singer here at the time, basically playing a "Greek Chorus" kind of role in this advent calendar. He always had a nice voice. Lots of his songs are a lot of fun.

Hey, there are still adults that get gifts.

me, £I'd have to get myself something some times
After I finally manage to scrape together some cash after spending it all on gifts for others, of course.

 No.1181608

This might seem goofy compared to other people online, around here, but I've been greatly enjoying going through a bunch of KitKat bars that I got for Christmas. Taking my time enjoying one after the other. [I did get more stuff too. Heh.]

And I'm going to post this clip more one time. Why not?

I'm not a collector... but my brother got me a perfect condition issue 1 of UK's Sonic the Comic, a comic that's been out of print for years and the very first issue. So it's the most valuable Sonic-thing I own now.

I also got other Sonic-related things.
