What I don't get is... in sci-fi, it's often romanticized for human space adventurer to fall in love with alien women... but it's gross if it's a human falling in love with an animal-person?
Like, is it no longer bestiality if they're at least 20% animal (or whatever the animal-human ratio of the average anthro) and their brains are as sentient as humans?
Sure, they're not human, but they're not beast.
I myself not really into the furry-scene, but I don't mind the idea of falling in love with a non-human as long as they pass the Harkness Test. Love is conditional, sure, but if they're capable of love, that's what matters, right?
