I hope the mods will be okay with this, what with technically being a promotionSo, as you all know from the current stickied thread, we recently lost Bravery.
Bravery was my very good friend. I spoke to him daily about just about everything for over a decade, and adjusting to life without him has been hard, though I am certainly getting better at getting through my day to day and starting to do things again.
I know that he would not have wanted me to sit around and be sad for him forever. And as much as he was my friend, he was also my supportive numbe 1 fan of just about anything. Willing to watch my video drafts to check for mistakes, and always, ALWAYS being present for my otherwise not heavily visited streams. Sleet or snow, no other viewers - Brav was there, always chatting and clipping up a storm.
He wouldn't want me to stop doing content, especially not at a time where my Twitch Affiliate Anniversary is coming up. So I am not going to. But I AM going to dedicate it to him.
One of our last conversations were discussing what would be something fun to do for such an occasion, and he suggested some nostalgic fun with the Disney Afternoon Collection of classic Disney Capcom games.
So on JULY 18TH, at 9PM UTC+2 / 2 PM UTC-5, I will be streaming exactly that, all in his name over at
https://www.twitch.tv/eshbaal/I don't usually promote my streams here, and I am well aware that most of you don't really watch to begin with and that my streaming hours are a bit wonky for a lot of you, given our time zone differences.
But I won't be able to do it in the weekend, and I want this to happen within the Anniversary window because that's what he suggested it for. The alternative is starting this at like, 2-3 AM my time, and I'd rather not do that.
But I am announcing it here to let those that want to participate check their schedules.
It would mean a lot to me if folks would show up for this. Aside from the dedication, my goal is to make it a stream like any other where we just have fun. But I would appreciate a turnout of our common friends.
I dunno how long I will go, but you are of course welcome to drop in later on. Maybe I'll even switch games and just keep going till I wanna pass out, who knows yet.
Either way, now you know. And I hope those of you that can will pop in.
