i have anxiety, and back in middleschool and beginning of highschool, i was just like her, so i related a lot to her fears. I definitely blossomed into a much more social creature, but i still have strong anxieties about certain things, and it is quite a struggle
there was a part where she was showing her bandmate lyrics, and they had a discussion about writing what's true to you versus writing what is commercially popular and how if you write what is true to you
"it may not be liked by everyone, but those who do like it will like it deeply"
and it made me reflect a lot about myself. i am a positive person outwardly, partly because i want to be that for others and want to give people a spark to do what makes them shine, but i would be lying if i didn't mention that i don't want to burden people and make people think i'm "doing great". sometimes that's not the case, and i want to throw an elbow into the throat of the things that are bringing me down
i often fear of that side alienating me from the world, or hurting others. but perhaps i need to bleed when i need to bleed, and maybe let others find solidarity when they feel the same T_T

I enjoy stories a lot and analyzing them, but I can't think of many that made me have some kind of epiphany about myself as a person or something like that.
I can pinpoint some that have shaped parts of my personality, my preferences and my interests, certainly. And I can name some that had big impressions on me at certain times.
I can name songs with lyrics that I relate to, cartoons that picked me up when I was down, so on so forth.
But outright really made me think that hard about myself? I am drawing a blank at this moment.
