I asked them if they could give me the wisdom teeth, but they said that because of where they were located, they would have to break the teeth apart to get them out

But they did give me a little pouch with the biggest pieces

I got my wisdom teeth removed last month. Three of them, at least. One is on a nerve, and since that one isn't impacted, they can't remove it without risking permanent nerve damage.

I don't know if they told you, but brace yourself for the third and fourth day after surgery, they're brutal.

After my wisdom teeth got removed, I ended up with a super painful complication called Dry Socket, but I was taking so much extra strength Excedrin that I didn't even realize it! I wasn't even taking the heavy duty Vicodin they gave me.

Same! Of course, if my lower right wisdom tooth becomes impacted, they'll have to do something. They mentioned the possibility of just removing the top part of it, but I hope it doesn't come to that.
As for the pain spike, I think it has to do with swelling (since you're told not to mess with it so the stitches don't break) and bacteria seeping in.
I also got hydrocodone, but my family has a tendency towards addiction, so I used it as little as possible, and only during the spike. Opioids are no joke.

well my doc gave me a round of antibiotics, some medial mouth wash, and other types of painkillers outside of the hydrocodone. so i hope that between all that, i can really minimize the pain id be getting. I did take the next week off for this thou, so whatever happens, at least i'm not gonna have to fenagle my schedule

Exactly. I've got enough medical issues as it is. Make sure you keep your mouth clean with the mouthwash, you really don't want to get a bacterial sinus infection now that there's a gap there.
I'm doing ok, working on a game. I've never done skeletal animation before, and I have limited experience with texturing and I'm not very good with humanoid models, but I think I have at least one that's coming out alright.
Are you taking it easy?
