It also makes me question if food is sentient, do they want to be consumed (as in an Ameglian Major Cow sort of way) or is food oblivious to the purpose of their creation (In a Sausage Party sort of way)?

Also, if food was sentient, where will that leave vegans? If vegetables were sentient enough to protest against being turned into salad, or grains protest being made into oatmilk or porrage.

... Am I unneccisary overthinking this?
