Kinda misleading article. Psychrobacter, like most environmental bacteria, are intrinsically resistant to most common antibiotics because those antibiotics aren't for them. Usually when we're talking about antibiotics resistance and MDROs we're talking plasmids and acquired immunity. These bugs just don't have the parts that the antibiotics attack, or they don't thrive in the same environment that antibiotics are effective in. Moraxella catarrhalis and Acinetobacter baumannii are related pathogens in the same family and they also exhibit broad intrinsic resistance. It isn't from overexposure they just come like that.

But cryophiles don't generally infect humans so you should be ok. We're too toasty for them.
