Here's a question:
The story goes that Asian companies sometimes hire Western people just for the prestige of having them.
Suppose you land a position at such an Asian company.
You get a very nice paycheck, you have to come into the office in the morning at 8 and have to leave in the evening at 7.
You have to dress up nice enough. But you don't get any real assignment, besides staying in your own office, where you can play video games or do whatever you want on your office computer (as long as it doesn't make you look too unprofessional). You have no real obligations at all. Perhaps they'll ask you to read through an English document once in a blue moon.
Would you be willing to work such a job?

Not a fan of the 11 hour day, even if it is spent doing basically nothing.
Make that a more regular 9 am to 5 pm and I'd be super down.

No. I don't like the idea of being somebody's pretty bird in a cage to trot out when they need to impress their friends.
Not to judge anybody who craves that kind of security, but I have my own values so that's what the proposition sounds like from my perspective.

i ain't looking good in suit!
and im uncomfortable with the idea of being showed as a trophy.... That said, i would have used that time to learn cad scripting or making blueprints to make the illusion of doing some high profile job for engineers.
THAT said, with my hobbies i cannot look clean from grease no much salt n grit mixed with fast orange.
so thank you, but no thank you.
give me a hangar with one or two boats to fix or one or two cars to fix in my own pace ill be fine.
+ im comfortable with my 9 hours shifts

I really don't like the concept of the position, so I don't know if I'd be comfortable doing it. Not to mention that I'd likely have to move to Asia and live there, and wear a suit, and stay in an office for 11 hours a day. I think I'm happier here.

I first typed: the closest analogy I can think of for being hired due to my skin color and explicitly told as such, emotionally, is having somebody hire me to hunt local kittens, barbecue them, and then eat them with hungry customers in public. No thanks. And I'd be so astonished by the offer in the first place that I'd stare blankly into space for about a entire minute trying to gather my thoughts.
And then I realized that eating cats is considered a normal thing inside of multiple countries. Google seems to say that Japanese culture finds nothing wrong with eating cats. I don't want to keep going through such news articles.
I'm honestly sad now.
There's also the question of whether not you count as "correctly white" / "truly white" / etc if you're LGBT, if you're disabled or partially disabled, of total or partial Jewish ancestry, and so on. God. I don't want to ask these people who'd be hiring me if they want to run through my DNA tests. Or anything else to see my "degree of whiteness". They'd have to ability say to whatever the hell they want since "are you white enough for me, baby" is a meaningless social construct the same as "are you sexy enough for me, baby" really. Ugh.

If we're taking everything at face value, hell yeah. I wanna get paid to sit there and look cute and have no responsibilities. It'd be exactly the same thing as I usually do except in a suit.
