>>1165170Reminds me of how Halloween is on a different day every year as its shifts by a day per year.
This of course is more extreme. Crazy thinking Easter is almost a month away from the current date next year!

>>1165213No, I meant like Halloween last year was on a Tuesday. This year it's on a Thursday.
It would be Wednesday but you know leap year and all that
You know, Halloween goes forward a day every year
As it's always the last day of October but the day of the week is different

This Easter, let's take this time to consider the significance of the signature. A signature is needed to form an agreement (or contract) between two people. Now, what is the ideal signature? The ideal signature is a bond of brotherhood between two sovereign individuals who form an agreement, with the agreement (or contract) representing an ethical arrangement of the highest societal accord, which benefits each sovereign (Lawrence Kohlberg's stages of moral development, Stage 5) (
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lawrence_Kohlberg's_stages_of_moral_development).
In modern times, however, the contract is no longer an ethical agreement made according to the character of each sovereign. Instead, in modern times, it has become a neccessity for taking care of the essentials of living and conducting daily life, such as using a computer, using a program on a computer, using a bank account, and other mundane actions. As such, agreements are no longer between one sovereign and another sovereign but are now typically between the slave, we shall say - I say "slave," as such men are typically defective when it comes to virtue and virtuous living (and who typically holds the power) and the sovereign (the one who requires the contract to conduct mundane life tasks). In the following song, the popular band "Rancid" conveys this sentiment through their song, "Disorder and Disarray," in their popular album, "...And Out Come The Wolves."
Notice how the businessman says goodbye when he sees Rancid sign the contract. In other words, the businessman (both in the abstract and in relation to Rancid's contract) appears nice and friendly, but instead of a friendly dog, actually turns out to be a ravenous wolf. Rancid is then crucified, because Rancid was the only sovereign in the contract. And it is only the sovereigns in a system of contracts that keeps the system functioning. Therefore, Rancid must allow himself to be betrayed and subsequently crucified in order for the world to continue to function, just as Jesus, according to Christianity, did for us.
Let us reflect on these things this Easter.
And in case you missed Lent:

Happy Easter! 🐇

Well, can't say this is the funnest Easter Sunday.
On one hand, my sister, her husband and my three-year old niece came by my parents' place today, and that was a lovely time. My niece actualyl bothered with me some this time and let me play with her for a while, so that felt good for a change.
But then there was that whole mess of my mom having had stomach pains all day - to the point where we ended up calling an ambulance.
From her description, they apparently got here with their lights on, for fear that it might have been intestinal torsion - but meeting her, talking to her and bringing them along, they seemed much less worried and said it wasn't even particularly necessary for my dad to go with her.
And she did text us after she arrived, saying she got some painkillers and wasn't really nervous about anything anymore. I haven't heard anything since, but we're all assuming things are fine unless we hear something else.
Still puts a bit of a downer on the mood though. Can't pretend I am not anxiously watching the phone.
