i am the exact opposite

i beg for spring and summer as soon as october arrives! the fall is a week and quickly gives way to winter here, and i can barely leave the house

so while i can't say i can relate directly to your feelings here, i can relate to the idea of "waiting for the good weather" to come again.

oh a nice cozy moment with hot chocolate is and a snowy view is great

until you have to get up in the morning and go out to your car in the blistering cold wind, only to find it covered in snow and the windows are frozen over, so you have to clean it off and scrape it, which makes you leave like 10 minutes later than you wanted to

and then you drive out onto the snowy and icy road that may or may not have been plowed, and you got to drive careful and slow. but the boss wants you in in half an hour, and you already wasted time cleaning off snow. so you have to hope that he's nice enough to let you easy

and then you get onto the highway and you almost fishtail into a ditch or into a canyon. and you wish you can stay home, but you already called off 2 times this month because the weather was shit then, so you don't want to risk your job

and you finally make it to work, and you get out of your car with your work uniform and supplies, just as a truck drives by you and sprays you with dirty slushy mess

and then you go to work, and you have to drive back THROUGH that same shit in reverse, and god help you if you have to go uphill and your car is not a 4wd vehicle

and you get home, have a nice hot choccy and bundle up again, but you can't enjoy it, cause you know yhou have to do that shit again 4 more days until the weekend

and that's your fucking life for 6 months of the goddamned year...
