I was about to say that since I actually do cook more "real" food recently, I should probably try and do something with Turkey for thanksgiving...
And then I remembered thursdays are when I host my workshop and I won't be home till 09:30 PM anyway. So I'd have to make something way before i leave for work and heat it when I get home.
Maybe I'll just eat some chicken and pretend.

Kraken is a dark spiced rum notably flavored with hints of chocolate and cinnamon. Many refer to it as a "Christmas" rum because of the flavors but I think it can be enjoyed anytime. It's best feature is that despite it being at 94 proof it's much smoother than it's more expensive competitors. Mixed with Coke or Dr. Pepper brings out the chocolate flavors even more intensely and makes a very delicious drink. It's very dangerous with how smooth it is however, as you can get inebriated quite quickly.

Honestly, I want some green beans.
They are blanched for 30 seconds to take the edge off and then sauteed with garlic and shallots, A splash of white wine, and then butter to form a sauce.
I have some beets that I plan on roasting and eating with goat cheese.
I need to be a bit kinder to myself. I found out that I am having issues digesting red meat, and meat in general so I am busting out my vegan books.

I have a bottle of Pinot Gris from Erath and a few blends from Apothic because they are a very good price/taste ratio. I should get a sparkling while I am out tomorrow. I adore good sparkling.
