I have picked up Super Mario Odyssey
One game where I try to gather as many moons as possible
One game I finished while skipping as many key plot points as I could.
I came from finishing most of Monster Hunter Stories 2.
I still need to continue Monster Hunter World.

Last game I played was Deep Rock Galactic. Fun co-op game to play on occasion. Been slowly going through RDR2 as well, which I love, but is kind of overwhelming at times!... also, replaying the Splinter Cell games.
Hmm, current systems, or all systems? The newest consoles I have are an Xbox One and a Switch, might get a Series X eventually, but considering I have a prettttty good PC, I'm not so sure about it! Not really looking forward to too many games right now, probably just Halo Infinite.

Gotta say, I'm not that big of a fan. Mainly bought it for Mario Odyssey back when that came out.

Yakuza Kiwami 1.
Was good, yeah.
PS2, PS3, PS4, Xbox, Xbox 360, Wii, Switch.
I used to have a Genesis and a Nintendo 64.
I have 1K unplayed games on Steam.

Currently playing a co-op playthrough of Seiken Densetsu 3.
I am really enjoying it! The Mana series is not something I had ever played before but it has quickly become a favorite.
I just have a pc and I don't think I will get a console anytime soon.

recently uh "acquired" Tales of Arise, but haven't played it yet
haven't really been feeling much into videogames at all this past month. I don't even remember the last one I played
I have so many systems. PS4, Xbox One (I recently found the one we had before, I thought my sister got rid of it but it was in the other bedroom the whole fucking time), Wii (for streaming Gamecube games), Switch, 3DS, and, of course, PC
I want a PS5 but that's probably not gonna happen any time soon. I'm also always on the lookout for new games that interest me, but I haven't really seen any I want to buy except for Webbed (which i already bought)

Last game I played was Graveyard Keeper, a neat Harvest Moon style game with a different theme. It had a lot of threads that started off interesting and mysterious, but in the end what you have to do is just everything, there isn't really a lot of choice to any of it. There's a directly visible end point that's less interesting than the mystery it presents, and it's very time gated even though there isn't a good way to pass the time. I haven't quite finished it yet just because it effectively involves idling my game as the active window for a long time.

Alien is my favorite movie, so I've been enjoying Fireteam Elite since its release. It's not an epic game or anything, but its fun and functional and in my favorite setting.
I have a PS5, Switch and XBone and I think I have more than enough of everything right now. Of course there's my PC too. Play games mostly there.

I was actually just yesterday at a bar in Copenhagen called Bip Bip Bar that mixes being a bar with having a bunch of old arcade machines. It's a LOT of fun to be getting drunk and playing Mario Kart, Time Crisis 2, Street Fighter, Mortal Kombat, and other random crap. What a great place.
At home, well, I am always playing a million little indie spoopies, but lately I have been simply replaying the Resident Evil 3 Remake just for funsies. Not to try and chase ranks or anything, lord knows I don't care, but it was fun to go in sort-of knowing what to expect and being better prepared. I actually ended up entering the fight with Stage 3 Nemesis practically armed to the goddamn teeth, and it felt glorious. I also replayed RE2Make before that, which really let me see the differences between these two in a way I didn't before. And sticking with Resi, I am gonna be streaming the 2015 Remaster of the remake of 1 for Halloween. I've never actually played ANY version of 1 to completion, so that oughta be fun.

Civilization IV: Final Frontier. It's an unusual mod that has its moments, but the AI is horrible at managing the mod restrictions, making it an easy win by attrition even on Diety (as long as you disable cultural victories).
I don't have any modern systems and don't plan to get any.
My next planned purchase is Victoria 3. Aside from that, I don't have any plans for buying games now or in the future.

I played a few things kind of recently. I've been playing Factorio, Crusader Kings 3, Space Station 13, and Escape from Tarkov mostly.
I have a Switch, but I mostly play PC games. I have no interest in any other system. Playstation and Xbox don't really offer me anything, but I can count on Nintendo exclusives being good and otherwise rely on my PC.
I'm with Boat on future game though. >>1096664
I'm looking forward to Victoria 3... and not much else? I don't even know what else is even coming out. Besides, my Battletech minis finally arrived so I'm going to put aside a lot of my gaming time to paint those up.

Oh, I've also been playing a lot of Dead by Daylight recently, which has been a blast. Though last night a match stressed me so much that I physically hurt myself somehow and that pain still hasn't gone away. Very unfortunate.
Still wanna get back in and get on that grind, though. My clown needs a top hat.

The last game I played was Space Station 13. Some rounds (it's an online game) are more enjoyable than others. This was a couple days ago, so I don't really remember a lot from it, but I think I was playing as a janitor, and I died wandering around the maintenance halls from suffocation for some reason. Atmos probably fucked up the oxygen piping. Or maybe a syndie sabotaged it. Considering how incompetent atmospherics often is, it could have been either one. Or maybe a mixture of both.
>What systems do you have currently? Do you want to get more systems? More games? If not, why not?
I have a (modified) Xbox and (also modified) NES, a Sega Genesis, and an Xbone which I've been considering selling because nowadays I use it as little more than a glorified blu-ray player.

I take no joy in seeing you frustrated except when I do.
Also you don't lose progress in Hades, you lose your money and have start over from room 1 but you get to keep all the nectar, darkness, gems and upgrade material from your previous run. But I see what you mean.

Dying in Hades actually isn't frustrating at all. Every run that you do helps you progress and get stronger a little bit more. There's also God Mode, which I think makes it so that you take less damage each time you die?
I highly recommend it! I'm never really been able to get into games that have an isometric angle that's similar to Hades (don't ask why, even I have no idea) and I think it's fantastic.

I fucked around on Basil for a bit on my own to just learn controls, and then another round where someone gave me the basics on how to set up the Supermatter Reactor for the station. The goal right now is to learn Robotics, and then later properly do some engineering. I wanted to start with Robotics both for mech suits, as well as the bit of surgery required to borg people.

I've played as the engineer a couple times but I never really did much. Eventually I should probably learn how to actually do stuff. My only concern is that I might accidentally fuck up the supermatter reactor because of incompetence.
I often play as a doctor. I never made the borg equipment, but the actual surgery to implant them is pretty easy. Just remember, don't forget to use the surgical drapes first.

Part of why I wanted to get into playing on the Manuel server is that since there's more of an emphasis on roleplaying, you're actually expected to do your job and that breaking and entering shit gives the shitcurity an excuse to actually throw someone in the brig.
Well, I decided to play as chemist for a change. Some type of disease that causes bleeding from the eyes was spreading through the station, but I wasn't able to make the cure in time because some idiot botanists and other non-medical personnel kept barging into the pharmacy and crowding it.

Outside of the Nintendo games, it just feels like a machine for downgraded ports, and even then, quite a few of the games are Wii U ports, or in some cases from older Nintendo systems.
I understand the appeal if you're on the go often and also have a lot of downtime while you're out, but for me I think I'd rather just read something on my phone or play a little puzzle game for 5 minutes.

Normally I'd recommend going with a new PC, but it's unfortunately a bad time for that.

Well, I've good experience with Dell products, so I might aim to get something that's midrange as far as specifications goes... I plan on playing some games, I suppose, but I'd mostly just be goofing off online.
Budgeting? I should wait until closer to my birthday, maybe, and I can talk to family about long-term needs versus wants... I suppose... things have been in flux for me since the pandemic hit, frankly. Not sure what to say.

When it comes to laptops Dell may be an alright choice. Not so good for desktops, but that's a different sector.
If it's mostly for internet browsing with some light gaming, I think I'd recommend looking into something with a Ryzen APU as well. Their integrated graphics are quite decent, especially in the lower range systems. Important to get a good amount of RAM I'd say, or at least something you can upgrade easily. I'd go for at least 16GB myself.
I'm... not even sure how to mentally conceptualize that...

Thanks for the advice. I know that it's a complex effort, finding the right laptop. There's also, honestly, so many things this year that I'm looking to spend money on.
I mean... thinking out loud...>Having dental operations?>Going to laser hair removal sessions?>Replacing clothing and otherwise making my closet more gender-affirming?>Finding a new laptop?>Fixing my unpaid appointments issue with a therapist so that I can see him again?>Finally meeting my long-distance long-term GF in person at her place?>Picking up gym equipment for my apartment?

Been looking at ASUS Vivobooks for a while now. This particular model seems like a pretty decent choice to me, though I still wanna find out what the RAM is looking like in this system, because it really makes a difference if it's running in dual channel or not.https://store.asus.com/us/item/202103AM250000008/laptopsvivobook-ASUS-VivoBook-15-M515-Thin-and-Light-Laptop%2C-15.6%E2%80%9D-FHD-Display%2C-AMD-Ryzen-5-5500U%2C-16GB-DDR4-RAM%2C-512GB-PCIe-SSD%2C-Fingerprint-Reader%2C-Windows-10-Home%2C-Slate-Grey%2C-M515UA-ES56

Also, from what I could tell, the RAM does appear to be running in dual channel.
6 cores, 12 threads, not bad at all. Isn't a true Zen 3 CPU like a desktop Ryzen 5000, but it's still pretty good regardless.

Guess that isn't that descriptive nowadays. Like, it could be a first or second gen for all I know!

Well, the shift started without a chief engineer, or any engineers at all. So a lizard volunteered to have me cut out his brain and shove it into a cyborg shell so he could go and start shooting lasers at the giant crystal to generate power.
I may or may not have stabbed him three times in the chest with a scalpel while trying to remove his brain.
After that I fed the slimes, giving them some nice fresh monkeys to suck the life out of. Then I ground up one of the slimes for science after one split.
When I came back to my lab, I found the clown attempting to get in, I struck up a conversation and he told me that he desired to make a H.O.N.K. mechsuit, a prospect I too found appealing, and told him to give me a bit to get some research done to unlock the necessary fabrication prints.
While that was going I had to leave and go get some food, so I went to the cafeteria. I found someone in a full body suit in the kitchen, with an exploded corpse, and some meat on the fryer. One does not query on how the sausage is made, so I enjoyed a meal of people-steak and went back to my lab.
On the way, I found the clown attempting to engage and entertain our newly arrived chief medical officer. As a prank, the clown removed his gloves at which point an explosion went off, turns out under all that makeup the clown is a plasmaman. My leg was dislocated, but the medical officer jammed it back into place, and I finally made it back to my lab to start working on the clown's mech.
During this process, I had to return to the cafeteria for some other stuff, and found the one who had been cooking the food lying unconscious on the floor. I leapt over the counter, and began to drag them out, the Head of Personnel came by and asked what I was doing, I explained and he used his access to open the door as I continued to drag the body to medical.
Once I got my unconscious charge to the medbay, the HoP stripped them down, and found out they were a syndicate operative. The HoP then proceeded to stab them, shove their dying body into a coffin and spaced it. I helped and sprayed the HoP down to get the blood off his suit.
I finally make it back to my lab, where the clown has already begun work on the new suit! We finish it up together, and then I send my friend out with our work to ensure the Captain is suitably honked.
I headed back to Xenobiology to check on my slimes, to find the lights all out. I look for the switch, but something leaps out of the darkness and tears into my body. I slip the mortal coil, only to be revived a few minutes later by the Chief Medical Officer. I warn her of the monster in the dark and she alerts the station that a "Nightmare" is loose on the station. This nightmare took my ID card and as such I found myself locked out of my lab.
I'm told to wait in the light, and I do so until they manage to kill the nightmare, but so many are dead that the escape shuttle is called. I board the shuttle, but alas my clown friend is unable to make it to the shuttle in time with the H.O.N.K., so my work has been left marooned on an abandoned station for someone to find.
Another day on Space Station 13.
Damn, that's a lot more interesting than my last round. I played as a paramedic who ended up being turned into a slime. I think it might have been some kind of virus, since a large chunk of the station were turned into slimes.
Then some jerkass sprayed me with a fire extinguisher and killed me, just for trying to steal his lifeforce. Also a Legion somehow attacked and killed most of the remaining people before the shuttle left.

I'm sure other people were having their own crazy adventures while I was doing my thing. >>1097107
Huh... how did a Legion get onto the station in the first place? How could a miner even possibly bring one back alive?

That could be. Really, I've been enjoying the shifts on the morning crew. The folks seem pretty chill, but there's still enough that chaos still erupts.

Sounds stressful. Think I'll pass.

Dying is part of the game, and you've just got to accept it.
Usually there's other gimmicky things that come around that let you respawn as something else if you want.
