How early is too early to put up Christmas decorations? It's not even Thanksgiving yet and I'm seeing Christmas decorations in stores already!

I think traditionally they're not supposed to go up until the day after Thanksgiving, though putting them up on Thanksgiving while the family's all there is acceptable.

>>1064101>As soon as Halloween is overAdorable. Try living here where stores were filled to the brim with Christmas Candy on October 2nd, didn't get Hallwoeen candy until like the 12th, ran out of it by the 23rd and didn't refill it.
Granted, Halloween is not a big holiday like it is in the US here, and it is largely something people do for personal fun, but when it's like this I just wonder hat the point of putting that shit up is at all.

I'm surprised I'm already seeing Christmas lights out in the neighborhood for a week or so.
Corona vibes perhaps?
For me, i'll wait until Sinterklaas and Black Pete have come along.
That's like in 3 more weeks.

Christmastime beginning in spooky month is just plain wrong, I think!
Even having it start mid-November is problematic!
Wait until Thanksgiving, damn it!
