I'm looking to start up a fun, show style open thread with the setting being the town of Ponyville. But! For some mysterious reason, Ponyville has run out of cherries! And no one knows why!

Princess Celestia is off on duties, and the main six are too busy with their separate missions to help out their home town. So together, the citizens of Ponyville must solve the mystery of why the cherries have not been delivered!

Roles that will probably need to be filled:

-Shop keepers

-Adventurers To Solve The Mystery! (perhaps volunteers or elected through the actual rp thread? Otherwise OOC is fine)

-Townsfolk

-A villain?

If this sounds like a fun idea for a thread, then let's make it happen cap'n!

If we have stats and a battle system then by all means yes! If not then having character sheets made won't hurt but in the actual rp, I doubt their details would become relevant.

I'm actually not too good at doing stat systems, as most of the rps I have been in were honor based unless a LOT of battling was going on. Otherwise we usually gave character sheets as just a little background on our characters, like a short bio and what they look like and some of the major things they can do.

Oh haha, sorry if I gave that impression! I never meant for there to be a DM, but rather just a party roleplay where everyone adds to the story how they like, and we just discuss in the ooc where we would like the thread to go.

And yes, of course your character is in! It is an open thread after all :P
