Positively Pinkie likes Yoshi's Woolly World, so he would objectively also like Kirby's Epic Yarn. He also likes Kirby games in general
We should talk about Kirby and Yoshi
Has anyone played Yoshi's Crafted World? I didn't know we owned it but apparently we do

You can still rent games? The Kirby/Yoshi games by Good-Feel always have a lot of collectibles, so it's a shame if they hid them differently than before. I'll give Crafted World a look and see if it's comparable to the collectibles in Epic Yarn

Yeah, via Gamefly. I actually have Kirby Robobot on my list of rentals if I ever get around to it.

I played the first 4 or so levels of Yoshi's Crafted World, and I guess how I feel really
depends on how many Smiley Flowers need collected to finish the game. If I could reach the end by only collecting the Smiley Flowers that you find by completing small challenges, that's perfectly good!
But if the red coins, souvenir hunts and so on are mandatory, I can see why it would be tiresome
That being said, there's 600 of the Smiley Flowers, so I really doubt all of them are mandatory

>>990492>It was neat, but it felt like a lot of the collectibles were hidden too well, without any good clues for the player to find them.
Some were tricky. But except for a few, usually they weren't that hard I think.
One thing I would have liked is that you got a list of collectibles at the start instead of being given the craft pieces one by one.
Because you're forced to do the same levels over and over to find every one of them.

Well collectibles are never mandatory, just neat to have, I suppose.
I did prefer the yarn skeens to craft a new Yoshi skin over the mechanic of gachapon to get the crafted Yoshi costumes.
Overall, Crafted World wasn't too bad, especially having quite the variety of settings and neat crafted aesthetics.
But I still think Woolly World has the better aesthetics and gameplay.
(which I honestly think can even beat out the original Yoshi's Island. except for the bosses)

I played Tetris Attack (that Yoshi puzzle game) quite a bit with an ex-gf of mine a long time ago. but I always beat her at it in vs mode, so she got mad at me. So I tried to intentionally not hit the mega combos, and then she got even madder at me. and then we stopped playing it.
Kirby Super Star is a fake game.

Nuclear take. Not a fan of the 7-games-in-1 schtick?

Super Star is the Winter Games of Kirbydom.

I will say, it felt weird, because I couldn't find out whether it was a full game, or just a bunch of Kirby mini games.
Though the Gourmet Race is a fun concept and the Treasure hunt makes for a great gaming experience imho.
Funnily enough, Milkyway wishes is a pretty known story arc in the Kirby franchise.> Tetris Attack
Funny enough, I did own a Kirby Star Stacker game and I somehow remember being pretty good at the later stages, but that's not possible, because I am terrible at arcade games.

I just considered it a waste of a Blockbuster rental.

It would be like thinking you're renting Super Mario World, but getting the arcade game instead. sure it's "technically" Mario.

I never rented video games, but I'd expect that shorter games actually makes it more elligible for being a rental.

Well, you need the Smiley Flowers to open up main passages and fight the final boss, and those are definitely collectibles. I had fun exploring the levels so far though!

Not like the number you need to progress are had to obtain.
If you want to be completionist
It's still not super hard. The boss challenges though are... tough.
