What is your weapon on choice?

Do you hole up inside, or brave the streets?

How do you get food?

Water?

Spirits?

My raifu, obviously

Fortify with an expanding boarder. Every new house or property I explore becomes another part. 'Least that's how I usually do it, depending on the game.

Fishing, some hunting, some foraging. There's a lot of stuff around here.

There's a river outside. Just needs to be filtered. I'm close to the mouth, too, so it should stay clean by large.

Don't really drink that much

I would most likely be one of the first to die. I went to a water park the other day and couldn't even manage to secure a tube on the lazy river, just kept deferring the ones that were becoming available to other people who looked like they wanted it more.

Weapon: probably take my cute parasol, no use getting a sunburn while foraging.

I'd probably stay mostly inside. There are more power outlets and maybe I could finish up Dragon Quest Builders 2 on the switch before we all lose power.

I'd probably hope that I could find enough food scavenging the nearby houses and apartments. I assume the tap water wouldn't stop working for a while.

I think this is an excellent plan if I do say so myself! Might make it to day two of the outbreak even.

Well, one of my ideas was to form a fire squad team with my three brothers but given we're stretched out and my oldest brother just went to hospital last night for what I pressume something liverly that leaves my bro-team idea out.

But I do know what equipment I want for the scenario:

1. A standard garden shovel.
My go-to weapon for fighting zombies. The head of the shovel can be used as a chopping weapon at a safe range while the handle and a good kick from my boot will push away zombies.

2. A shot gun. Preferably semi-auto.
Called the street-sweeper for a reason, but I won't go willy-nilly with it. I doubt I'll find shotgun shells lying around and will treat each shell like gold dubloons. Will only use the shotgun if I am swarmed.

3. A standard pistol.
Honestly, I dunno much about guns to know what the "standard pistol" is. Like the shotgun I'll treat it's bullets as if it was made of gold. Won't even shoot a zombie in the head for "dramatic effect" if I can do it with my shovel. The gun will be used for "mercy kills". Someone bitten and on their way to change or if I am stuck in an absolutely hopeless situation. As long as I have one bullet to myself.

But still if zombie scenarios were real, I wouldn't really worry about it much. corpses decay and liquifies in about a month and given they'll be out in the sun where all the flies and maggots will get at them or exposed to the cold which will make their rotting flesh brittile a zombie apocalypse would only last for a few short months.

If I thought I could make it, steal a car and plan to camp on the roof of a grocery store.  I don't have enough food here, and zombies seem pretty bad at climbing.  I don't have any weapons, so probably just find a broomstick.

I actually been putting together an idea for a Zombie apocalypse RP where you're either a survivor or a ghost that is tethered to the zombies of their former selves, thus they are forced to have a third-person perspective of whatever their zombie does.

I'd probably go live on an existing farm, one that's pretty self-sustaining, like with a natural river running through it, and with high trees. I'm very good at climbing, zombies are not, and farmland tends to not have a ton of people, so the number of zombie's should be manageable. There may be farming tools there, as well, which can act as both vehicle and weapon. I'd bring i bike before i got there. A bike will allow me to be much faster than any zombie, and doesn't need gas. I could bike through city/town outskirts to get things my farm home doesn't supply me.

In a Zombie Outbreak.

The first people who will die are going to be: fat people, people without condition/stamina, normies who hate nerd stuff,  and people who doesn't use seatbelt when are driving.

Also pyschos are worst enemies you can face more than zombies.

i would use staves and my hard whips. bladed weapons would dull too easily, and the blunt force trauma of the sticks and whips would be good for smashing brains and vital areas. Guns are too loud and would draw attention, plus ammo is limited. but it can be good in a pinch when you are surrounded

i'd hole up as long as i have supplies, but that is a temporary solution, so i would ride a bicycle on the major highways and avoid small enclosed areas.

I'd head to either a cliffside, or travel somewhere in the desert, up a mountain, or into a cold area, as these would be hostile environments and make zombies less likely to be an issue.

food? well i would do my best to secure prepackaged foods and non-perishable items. but the problem is that stores would be crawling with zombies of people who thought to do the same thing. so what i would do then is go to a gas pump, fill up some portable tanks with gas, then spread it around and start a fire inside the store. then when either the fire dies down, or the store collapses, see if i can scavange some of the groceries that survived the exchange

hunting would be iffy, because you don't know what is infected or what isn't. so i'd only do that if i had no other alternative

water would be a little easier, if you have a pot and a way to catch vapor, you can find a river or body of water and boil water, then catch the vapors above it to purify it.

spirits would be good, and liquor stores wouldn't be as bad to go itno, but still not an ideal place to go. So that would be a secondary objective only if it was deemed not too dangerous

>What is your weapon on choice?
My fastest running shoes. (And also a machete, because not only can it be used near indefinitely, it also makes a really good tool.)

>Do you hole up inside, or brave the streets?/How do you get food?/Water?
I’d escape into the highlands. I live in a small suburb at the edge of my city, so I could probably get into the countryside (or at the very least outfit of the city.) within about 15-20 minutes. And luckily for me I live in Scotland, which means that I’d have a near endless supply of water and wildlife, not to mention that the vast majority of the country is almost completely uninhabited.

I’d basically escape into the highlands and find somewhere near a good water supply. I’d borrow a basic underground house for warmth about 5-10 minutes away from the river or preferably loch that I end up living by. At first I’d pretty much only live on things like bugs and small insects that I was able to scavenge, as well any plants that look somewhat edible. But realistically I’d have to find a better food source than snails, cockroaches, and crickets, so I’d have to teach myself how to fish, and possibly even hunt. If I died it would probably be during some of the harsher winter months, but my goal going up to that point would be to build the best borrow possible (if I don’t find a cave or something similar) that will shield me from the elements, and learn how to fish and/or hunt to some basic degree.

Also as someone else pointed out, eventually most of the zombies will decompose and die. So after a year or two they basically won’t be problem, although you shouldn’t rule out the problem of other survivors, who can often be far, far more deadly than any zombie.

One of my 30-06 rifles and a crowbar.
Hole up where I am, though I may need to do some work on the woods to control the underbrush. Some controlled burns might be required.
Hunting, loot what seeds I can from the nursery a few miles away, and really just an excessive amount of white vinegar and mason jars for pickling.

You guys posted a lot of things I didn't even think might be important, like a gun making a lot of noise and drawing attention.

I think if I didn't end up a zombie right off the bat, my first order of business would be to meet up with a few friends whom I feel like are good under pressure, then together, come up with a game plan.

Ok now that's something I haven't heard before, but I like it. I like that concept of trying to cave to social norms even if it literally turns you into a monster
