Well it's about that time. In a few days the Washington brony convention Everfree Northwest will begin, and of course I'm eager and ready to dive head first into it. So for the next few days let's go ahead and come together to talk about whatever is on our minds and enjoy a nice warm drink of whatever we like, or cold if it's getting hotter for you

Going to see Detective Picachu with my little sister some time today. Rumor is it's okay. I just want to see it for the meme. Seeing any movies with my little sister makes them pretty fun, though we are also kind of the jerks at the movie theater that're always talking. Part of why I usually try to sit more in the front, so hopefully people don't hear us too much.

>oh dear, is it a complicated problem?
Kind of? The drivers on my original board fried, so, I had to buy a new one, which'd give me the option to replace them. I've already got the board installed, the necessary files on said board, and the driver chips in. I just need to adjust their current, and also get a way for the system to read files since I didn't realize that the old board had a built in SD slot but this one doesn't.
Alternativerly, I could just link it up to a raspberry PI like I had planned to at one point, anyway. It'd be a bit sooner than I was intending, and I'd be missing a fair bit of the supports and mounts given the lack of ability to print such, but, eh. I kind of have that issue as is, since the new board doesn't fit in the original mounting anyway.

So, basically, complicated enough that I really ought to stop postponing it and properly sit down and figure out, but at the same time, not so complicated as to be something that'll require more than a few hours or so fiddling with.
Double if I end up doing the octoprint stuff with the Raspberry Pi thing, though.
On the plus side, I'm very good at brute-forcing through problems. So, I'm not really worried too much at this point.

My town has a huge plot of land in the middle of our market row, because the man who owns it wants to sell the plot but is charging an outrageous price. It's been barren for so long, it's now completely overgrown. But of course the government is doing nothing against it, neither charging him nor forcing him to do anything about it.

Compared to that, getting fined for letting the grass in your yard grow a bit too long honestly sounds like a scam.

It's not relaly an upgrade, just... roomier. The two beds aren't a bunk bed, it isn't played RIGHT in front of the fucking table, the beds aren't stacked between wall and bathroom... and it just opens up the room SO much more. Being in here actually feels good.

Eeeyep. Just looking at nearby places to eat right now. Unfortunately, most of it is way outta my budget, so looks like more burger meals for me.

Except there seems to be a decently priced Thai place. Neat. What's also neat? The fact that the theater where  I am seeing a setup of Rocky Horror Picture SHow tomorrow is like literally right in front of my hotel.

Also hi Sirkit

Well I can do sellable motion graphics at least. Make a bit of 3D space work, do some nifty graphical shit. I should probably practice with it by trying to make a neat new Youtube intro for myself on the new laptop. Who knows, maybe the next two days learning Adobe Animate will cement that.

Speakin' of, these courses are a fucking hoot. The After Effects teacher basically concluded today geeking out about addons and going "Go get HitFilm. it can do almost all the same things, is free and looks almost the same as Premiere and After Effects".

And the people I'm taking the Adobe Animate Course with called me up yesterday to ask what I wanted to learn specifically cause we'reonly gonna be like 2-3 students anyway so they wanna personalize it as much as they can

how long were those in there?

also you'll be fine. your lungs and even your skin have specialized mold-fighting bacteria. it's long term high exposure that overwhelms them. Unless you have asthma, in which case you could have overstressed your lungs.

 No.946483

>>946453
Yeah. Pretty much you'd have to be a transplant patient or have HIV or be immunocompromised in some way for the bulk of wild molds to be worth getting concerned over. Your only real concern is anaphylaxis or asthma and that would have happened by now.

Or Histoplasmosis but that's really only in agricultural areas.

That's a good question!  I can't imagine they're that old, this certainly isn't normal.  "Ultimate Oranges" it said.  Unlikely.

For a while I was trying to dig through them for decent oranges, but when the boss looked in the box she was as grossed out as I was and we threw the rest out.  Guess I should've been more direct in questioning her on the mold, could've saved myself some effort.
