I was wondering what you guys normally do during Easter.
Any local customs you participate in?

I am so tired because of this last semester that my only plan is mostly to rest... drawing and Deutsch zu üben.

 No.937595

As a small child, we used to do egg hunts. Now we just color the eggs so we can make egg salad. There is also candy.

Sadly we never really celebrated Easter in any great capacity over here.

We got cheap chocolate eggs and a day off school, that's about it.

We get an entire week off here, though.

This time of the year is perfect to get some Kinder eggs.

Kinder eggs are sadly the one kind of chocolate egg that never goes on sale around here.

Probably because they know their stuff is good and people will buy it regardless.

Egg salad is a kind of sanwhich made from boiled eggs. There's a tradition of hiding colored eggs and having children hunt for them. You used boiled eggs you've dyed the shell different colors. But some people just use plastic eggs. Once all the eggs are found, my family makes egg salad out of them.

The entire menu for my final is:

Cream of tomato soup as an app.

Flounder bonne femme as the main with a classic pilaf as the starch and roasted Brussel sprouts.

I mean doing anything professionally is hard, but I am happy when I make food and learn how to develop myself.
Every day I am a bit stronger than the last.

I want to train to become a master so a few burnt fish will happen.

When you say specialty, do you mean a dish or if I work more with a certain style?

If dish then my snapper en papillote with saffron rice.
If you mean style my chef is training us in traditional French but his background is Italian and I would like to move to learn both.

I want to finish my degree here and then get into either the Italian Culinary Institute of Le Cordon Bleu of Paris

Flounder is great.
I just wish people knew how to cook it other than deep frying it.

I hope so. I wanted to do saffron rice but I just got the pilaf so my partner would have something to do.

>>938289
I do but I don't really have a background in Asian cooking.
Not to say I don't want to learn I just know where I am strongest.
I would love to train with some sushi chefs.
In fact, one of my other instructors is one.

From a personal standpoint my recommendation is to blacklist them and forget about them. I don't really see what there is to be gained from contacting someone who sends you stuff you stuff you don't like. Unless this isn't just harassment and they have some leverage over your friend.

From a technical point of view, email is not truly anonymous but it is designed to work like regular mail so this is not easy. Mail just appears addressed for you and there's no requirement that the sender actually attached their own correct address. The only party that knows the sender's address is the first email relay server. The other mail relays just pass the message around without regard for who sent it.

If they're using an open mail relay (i.e a mail that requires no authentication) there's close to zero accountability. The mail relay may know the sender's IP, but they won't care enough to share it with you even if you ask. But there's not real way to know which open server they used.

If they're sending through a organisational account (Gmail, MS, apple etc) those organisations will know the details that sender used to create an account. You'd have to go though a legal process to get this info from them which might not be correct.

The last cases is they using they own server (me@mydomain.me). This means they've registered a domain. A 'whois' look up may reveal the details that they used to register this domain.

That's pretty much the only avenues available to you that are legal.

It is just a southern thing.
Around here it is called Calabash style. Where everything is fried and tossed on a plate.

Personally, I like to saute my flounder. Steaming is great and why I love en papillote so much.

not sure. last few easters I've been in the field. It's been a while since I had a legit easter celebration. I think I might attend the morning service, then volunteer hiding some eggs for the kids. maybe invite some friends over and play some games while we eat a bunch of candy we bought for ourselves. might cook everyone a nice dinner.

Fair enough, well as I say. The network layer stuff (this person's IP) is quite separated from the application layer stuff (this person's email address). Hope your things work out for your friend.
