Another one I recommend (if you haven't seen yet) is Mighty Car Mods' film where they do a mini roadtrip in Japan

Neither of those things are true.  And having re-read Mark Waid stuff didn't help either cause yeah I love it but they also fucking paralyze me in a state of "I will never be capable of anything good".

I will say

Re-reading The Return of Barry Allen gave me MUCH more appreciation for Eobard Thawne, given how utterly bored I almost always am of "evil counterpart" villains. I mean holy shit, that guy compiled entirely of some top-shelf buttfuck insanity, and he is somehow both terrifying and pathetic.

You will never love your favorite superhero enough to change your name, face and entire identity to try and be him.

Only to then travel back in time to meet him, only to end up arriving a few years after his death, THEN discover you will eventually become the only person evil enough to make said person KILL you, suffer a mental breakdown that causes you to believe you ARE him, and then go on a murderous jealous rampage against his actual protegé.

I mean Jesus fuck,  the dude is an absolute monster, but considering this is a dude who was clearly already so incredibly lonely he developed a stalker-personality / most likely was already somewhat mentally ill, is it really any wonder he went COMPLETELY off the deep end with all the shit he went through?

And Joker thought HE had a bad day when his wife and child died and he got his skin bleached.

 No.930882

>>930881
I mean that is a pretty shit day too, to be perfectly fair.

But yeah, God I love Mark Waid's Flash stories, at least the ones I've read. Everything is so expertly crafted in every story. Born to Run is a fantastic origin, he made a character as silly as fucking Abra Kadabra terrifyingly insane, gave the world one of the most epic encounters with Thawne, despite that Thawne being younger and less experienced, did some of the best takes on trying to convey what a life with super-speed must be like (that goddamn elevator story is a masterpiece), and it's still ALL done with an ultimately optimistic lean. I REALLY need book three.

 No.930883

>>930882
I'd buy you a copy but I literally have less than 1 SEK on my bank account until Monday and nothing to eat at home besides noodles.

Don't think I'm gonna be playing Sekiro any time soon from the looks of it. Or Devil May Cry 5. Or Resident Evil 2 remake. Man I'm way behind on games.

 No.930884

>>930883
I wasn't fishing, dude. I'll get it eventually. For now, saving up for Bloody Weekend.

Iiiii still need to play Spyro 3. And most of the third act of DQXI. And ALL of Breath of the Wild.

 No.930885

>>930884
I have been playing around with the idea of digging out my PS3 which I haven't touched since... Well, since I got a PS4... and play through NieR 1 again because man, that game gets some flack for the gameplay but man do I love the characters and story even more than Automata which I also love.

 No.930886

>>930885
I have only very few PS3 games. never did finish Bioshick Infinite, and have barely touched Borderlands I and II. Granted, I was never that big a shooter guy, but their worlds make up for it.

 No.930887

>>930886
All I remember of Borderlands 2 is there is literally a sidequest about killing the ninja turtles.

 No.930888

>>930887
And this is a bad thing?

 No.930889

>>930888
Nah, if I have to remember one thing about the game that's not a bad thing to remember.

 No.930890

>>930889
I mean, I played Punch Club not too long ago, and there's another sidequest about beating up the Ninja Turtles... sorry, Alligators.
