i was definitely raised with more open minded parents (overall) that allowed me to watch cartoons, explore art and things, and generally were supportive of the things i did.

it would have been great overall, but my mom being an alcoholic made it so i was forced to be independent and always crucially aware of people and my surroundings to a neurotic level. i also have trust and intimacy issues because of that

i agree with my first paragraph, and i abhor the second paragraph :PP

you could always send some to meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee :33

well, that's tricky cause i don't typically buy hot sauce, i usually just find it at restaurants, or eat whatever my dad has. i've always enjoyed hot sauces, and i typically favor green chili sauces, made with roasted colorado peppers or hatch peppers

that being said, if you strictly are asking bout sauce that i buy. the one i buy consistently isn't even a "hot sauce" but i put it almost everything.

Huy Fong Garlic Chili Sauce

[b]https://www.target.com/p/huy-fong-chili-garlic-sauce-8-oz/-/A-13473416?sid=1501S&ref=tgt_adv_XS000000&AFID=google_pla_df&fndsrc=tgtao&CPNG=PLA_Grocery%2BEssentials%2BShopping_Local&adgroup=SC_Grocery&LID=700000001170770pgs&network=s&device=c&location=9029014&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIh5z5gIT73QIVW7XACh1kowDTEAQYASABEgL-VvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

it's by the same people who make that most iconic Sriracha sauce, but i prefer the Garlic sauce personally

it's not super spicy, but it has that garlic and asian flair that i love <3

Go to a more upstanding restaurant, one that you is pretty clean in the kitchen, and ask for the chef to make it "as raw as he is allowed to make it".

It will be closer to that pictures rare then blue rare, but it will still be raw in the middle.

Or, alternatively, get a good steak from a butcher that you trust. I recommend searing it, thirty seconds one one side, thirty on the other, with a little salt, pepper, and A1 sauce.

i haven't watched the video yet, so i can't say anything about the technique involved there

but i can tell you that i have learned a couple techniques

the first is one where you focus on the pain, and you envision it as this large source of pain energy, and then make it smaller and smaller until it vanishes from your mind. That one works okay for some things for me, but not all pains

the other one which i like alot more is breathing through the pain. where you focus on the source of the pain, and you envision that you are breathing through the source. That has helped me in almost every painful situation i've been in, cuts, bruises, when i broke my wrist, when i tore tendons in my foot.

so that is my experience. i can't say i'm great at it, as it's not my field of expertise, but i know what works for me

To Copenhagen to FINALLY see Incredibles 2, most likely. It took it a while to get here, and I haven't been home on any of the days they showed it at our local theater (where it would have been the danish dub anyway. Which usually isn't a problem, except most of the new characters... don't... sound good from the Trailers I saw).

And since I have business in the city both tomorrow and saturday, I just wanna know if we're going today so I can pack and just stay at my friends' place during those days.

she's adorable and easily the reason why i love the show the way i do

and to make her a "mary-sue" you would need to

make her better than diana in magic and in general intelligence

make her popular amongst everyone

every scenario she is in, she does perfectly and with no trouble at all

Akko has none of these going for her

>>844054
i think you are confused, that's a tried and true trait of a lot of shows of this type; and you ignore her entire purpose to the show

she is clumsy, she fails at the most basic of magic, and she has no reason to be there in the eyes of almost everyone. The only reason she stays there is because of her tenacity, passion, and pure stubborness

the attributes where she does shine through, where she does have these strange magical abilities and knowledge, and has this destiny with the shiny rod, and the childlike wonder is supposed to be there because it shows her part in the whole of this universe

it is a world where magic is dying, and technology is dominant. Witches are more or less just obsolete, and geopolitics are at the center of everything, while they are not even part of the picture.

what akko represents is magic's reason for being. it has alot of use, but she represents the love and admiration. The pure wonder of it all, and the heart and determination to actualize it and spread that same passion to others.

she isn't a mary-sue. and "anti-mary sue" isn't even a thing

what you are complaining about is just tropes, and that can be hit or miss with anyone depending on their individual tastes, but that is no marker on their quality

Anti-sues are totally a thing, you talking about tropes? Your number one source of tropes has you covered:
https://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/AntiSue

Again, the whole "she represents magic and childish" you say is just your interpretation. What I see is an annoying kid that the anime developers are trying a bit too hard to make me like. An inorganic main character.

akko doesn't represent this though either

yeah, she exhibits some of the inverted tropes, but not all of them.

and to speak in these terms i think is highly unproductive

i get it, you tend to favor things that are unique and supremely unconventional, that is fine and i do too. but your evaluation lacks depth and understanding of the shows you are complaining about

i know you dislike akko, and that is fine. but to call her an inorganic main character, and an annoying kid that anime developers are trying to make you like shows that you aren't even attempting to read into what they are trying to accomplish

You do not have to represent all of something to be one thing.

I shouldn't be trying this hard to red into a character. If the character ruins what would have been an otherwise good series, then the character is at fault. I'm also not the only one who thinks Akko is the weakest link of Little Witch Academia. Just google "Little Witch Academia Akko bad character" and you will see the top five pages all of people complaining about Akko in one way or another.

Just because you like her, it doesn't means she is a good character.

in this case, i would disagree. the anti-sue's main stake is that they are completely the invert of the mary-sue, to the point they are incompetent, yet still everything is done and they are liked

akko still has to work to get where she is by the end, and when people start giving her credit, it's because of her own sweat and tears getting there. she doesn't get any participation trophies, her accomplishments are of her own work, and she actively gets better. she isn't static. she is a fully fleshed character with an arc that reflects her progress

some shows don't require reading into the show, while others do, art doesn't have to "be" any one thing; it can be as simple or complex as the creators want.

if the character is well fleshed out, well made, but you still don't like them and opt out of the show, that is your choice and the show isn't for you. But that by no means is the fault of the character or the show, or the shows creators. and while i can see there are people that don't like the show because of her, then that is also their choice and their loss as well.

just because you hate her, it doesn't mean she isn't a bad character.

plus, i wouldn't even say it's hard to read her character or what she represents in the show. she isn't super complex, but she is exactly what the show needs

i disagree that she is an anti-sue at all

the first 4 episodes were more world-building

i mean, i will grant that the first 4 episodes don't show her gaining much as far as her magical skills, but we still see akko showing her positives as well as her negatives

episode 1; we are introduced to her love of magic and inspiration. and how her belief in herself and magic leads them to the shiny rod that kicks off her arc

episode 2: Diana's logical and deductive reasoning leads her to see the pods that are on the tree to be a parasite, which for all intents and purposes is a correct approach. it is only because of akko's card that she even knows what these pods maybe. Diana shoots, but akko acts on instict driven by her knowledge of the card and determination that the card is right, she jumps in front of the magic shot. and saves the pods, allowing them to release the faries. That entire episode is actually a microcosm of the show if you think about it, as it preludes everything that will happen in the show

episode 3: is purely about both akko's impulsiveness to join an event that she has no skill to join. but she uses tangential logic and cleverness to gain an upperhand. it also helps that sucy and lotte brought their own means to the race, and while akko did begin to ride the super broom at the end, it was still an insane feat to get on the darn thing to race

episode 4: that was more of a lotte episode overall, so Akko didn't really have much focus

we are introduced to akko's qualities as a person as she continues her quest to be a witch. and while she hasn't "gained" anything as far as magical ability, the audience gains knowledge of how akko survives, thrives, and what she brings to this world that the other witches and the system does not
