I'm a bit unsure what this is.  I hear people talking and someone is playing guitar.

So it's a podcast.  I listen to a few of those.  I think I'd have to start from the beginning to see what you teach in your podcast.

I'm not very good at making much sense of the rambling of strangers.  But I'm thinking of doing an audiobook on statistics at some point, which I guess is similar, so I can post that if I ever start.  I usually have to remain quiet, so record time is limited.  Although perhaps I could whisper.  Anyway, it will be good because it will involve me, and if you can't trust that, what can you trust?

true dat! do whatever you feel comfortable with, and work from there!

and doing something like an audiobook may teach yourself all sorts of things about projection, annunciation, and knowing when and where to breath!

>when and where to breath
Well, I can say if I pass out more than a few times because I forgot to breathe, I'll just switch to using text-to-speech.  No need to risk my health.  Even good text-to-speech audiobooks on mathematics would be useful.

breathe from the stomach

and it's okay if you pause to breathe between lines! you can always edit out pauses later!

That's not breathing, that's burping.

>and it's okay if you pause to breathe between lines! you can always edit out pauses later!

Yeah, I guess so.  I can record in small pieces and put it all together.  So, I guess the first step is to write a book that does not rely on non-text figures for understanding.  I think I have a good speaking voice, since I don't think you can fix it if you don't and when things only exist in one state, I think it's wisest to consider that state good.

not burping silly! let me explain

you are still breathing from your lungs, but you are expanding your diaphram by extending your stomach, instead of your chest. it's called "child's breath" because that is how you naturally breath when you are born and grow up as a child. alot of people then try to breath from the chest later in life, which ends up reducing the amount of oxygen they actually get

and i think you can write the book however you like! whether it is with characters or not! if you wanna practice voice acting, there are many places you can learn to manipulate your voice ^^

>"child's breath"

That's interesting.  Why?  I'm aware of no breathing authorities that teach people to change their habits from childhood.

>if you wanna practice voice acting, there are many places you can learn to manipulate your voice ^^

I've been thinking of contributing to the librivox project.  It is a bit hard because I don't want to disturb my roommate or others in my apartment with talking.  I'm not sure how many decibels I'm allowed so usually just stay quiet.  Although maybe I could go to a park or something and record if no one was around.  That could be nice.

my best guess is that by breathing from the stomach, it makes people look fatter than they are. and thus in order to try and look thin, they stop breathing from the stomach altogether. i don't know for sure tho

what is the librivox project? sounds interesting!

hmmm, i don't think anyone knows their own decibels! but if you are concerned about your volume, you could try and practice when your roomate is away! or if you go to a college or something, a music room would be great to practice in!

Ah yes, fat is not popular right now.  That makes some sense.

>librivox project?

Volunteers read and record books whose copyright has expired.  I listened to...pretty much all of them in math and science, and it was helpful.

>could try and practice when your roomate is away!

I have the night shift.  She's mostly sleeping when I'm up.

>if you go to a college

I do.

>a music room would be great to practice in

It has none.  Plus my best time for recording is, like, 2 a.m. and I wouldn't be welcome anyway.  But I can always start with text-to-speech and fill in slowly, I guess.  People will be happy with that because they have no choice.

yeah, which is a shame as it's okay to be chubby yo! at least i believe so ^^

oooh that is awesome! i think that is a wonderful idea! keeping books alive through audio is a wonderful thing! twilight would be proud!

ooooh that is not easy to get around then... perhaps you could find somebody that has a recording studio, or at least will let you use their equipment in their space! it would require getting to know somebody, but i think it would work!

ah, yeah that is a bit of an odd time to let people into the college!

hey, that is alright! a text to speech style is perfectly fine! you are still doing a grand job!

>that is awesome!

It is pretty cool.  Granted the science books are kinda hit and miss with quality but if you like literature, some of the stuff is the same quality you'd get if you bought a book through Audible or something.

>twilight would be proud!

Ah, yes.  Well, if she's not one of those sorts that feel audiobooks are somehow improper reading.  I read almost nothing before audiobooks and now I read a lot, so it's good for me, but some feel tradition (and the lack of access it encourages) has more value than convenience.

>find somebody that has a recording studio

I did know someone once, but recording studio + works night shift is an unlikely match.  At least it's lucky I make a lot of money at my job (but not enough to buy a recording studio).  The night shift does cause you to reflect on how much things sit idle.  Split the whole population half-way into day and night shifts and you'd need half the structures...

>you are still doing a grand job!

It's nice that you seem to believe in my project.  I suppose I have reason to believe as anything I make will be better than the nothing that currently exists.  (It's rare to find large holes in media, but [serious] audiobooks for math [or programming] is one such hole.)

well, if there is a will there is a way! i believe that your audiobook for math and programming idea will be wonderful when you start putting it into fruition!

alas, i need to go to bed myself! so goodnight flower!

may you have a wonderful night!
